Cindy,
Do you plan to post something or call us in the worst case scenario? (I don't even want to say the 4 letter word!) If you have to...where should we look before leaving if it is questionable?
I'll post something here at the latest early Saturday morning. If it's only a few inches, we could postpone the start time, so the roads are cleared. I'm playing it by ear and will post more on Friday once they have a better clue of what is coming. The forecast has changed again this morning, so it's too early to say.
Freaking out! I have to be prepared at least two weeks in advance and prefer a month.........I just am so intimidated by all you talentd folks....looking forward to seeing you and Teena, honey! Hugs!!!!!

Looks like we are all gonna enjoy a day of stamping. Sounds like Mother Nature heard us and isn't coming up this far. Unless things drastically change with the weather, I'll see you all on Saturday morning. If you aren't going to come, please let me know ahead of time. If too many people are no shows, it isn't going to be fair to those who do show up and have prepared their swaps.
Cindy, this has nothing to do with the snow but unfortunately I will not be able to make it to the swap now. I have a family issue to deal with that is going to prevent me from coming. I'm so sorry, if I had known this was going to happen I wouldn't have signed up at such a late date.
OH!! :( You'll be missed!! Do you have your swap done/cut? If so, do you want me to take it??? Let me know...
Hey Cherie! No, unfortunately I don't have anything done yet, was going to work on my card last night but unfortunately didn't get a chance to start on it. :( Thanks for offering though!
ok, OK. I am still bagging up my stuff and I have to type out directions, but I am ALMOST done.
I do have my "HOT Beverage Station" all packed up. I figured since it was going to be SO cold, I asked Cindy if she thought everyone would like a choice of a hot beverage. So I have my little basket of hot chocolate, hot apple cider mix, tea bags and coffee already to go. I will bring my coffee pot to make the hot water in for the beverages.
I am ready for some fun, stamping, laughs (lots of laughs) and some great food. Bring on the Depends Cindy - LOL
Warm Inky Hugs,
Kathy

Sorry you can't make it Kathi. Good luck dealing with your family issue. I sure hope you don't have to miss Sunday too - I know you were looking forward to that.
I think I'm already to go as well. DH and I will head up to church after he gets home to set everything up. I'm so looking forward to a day of stamping and laughing with such a great group of ladies. And I can't wait to see what new goodies we get to stamp with since the new mini is out as well as sale-a-bration. I'm sure we'll be adding to our wish lists before the day is out.
Just a reminder of what you'll need to bring tomorrow:
your swap prepared for 31 people
your scissors/adhesive, etc.
your lunch item
cards for the card ministry if you'd like to donate - these are not required
$10 cash for the church
Church temperature will be set at 68 degrees like in November, so please dress accordingly. Layering is a good idea. Once we all get laughing and stamping and carrying on, we'll be warmed up. LOL
Here's my cell # just in case anyone has problems in the morning - 410-615-3633.
Easiest way to the church from 695 is to take Belair Road/US-1 North for approximately 4 miles. Turn right onto Ebenezer Road and go to the end of the shopping center. Turn right into the parking lot - you'll see the Faith Fellowship Church sign. Then turn left into the church parking area. Go to the double doors in the middle of the building. For those coming 95 North, you'll be taking a right exit for 695 West. For those coming 95 South, you'll be taking a right exit for 695 West. Once you get onto 695, get over into your far right lane, because Belair Road North is the first exit you'll come to.
For those who want to use their GPS, the church address is 4375 Ebenezer Road, Baltimore, MD 21236.
Just FYI we are not your normal looking church building with a steeple. We are located in an old grocery store at the end of the shopping center. Look for our sign as well as signs for the YMCA which now are renting out part of our building.
You'll come thru the front glass doors located under the Faith Fellowship sign and then again thru the sliding glass doors and head towards the lights in the back towards the left. I'll have signs posted on the front doors where you should enter. It's the area we've been in several times back in the classroom area.
Cindy, nothing like last minute! I still need to decide my food for tomorrow, I could do chicken salad, but it would have to be storebought. Any other suggestions for a main dish? Good thing my card is done at least!

BLESS YOU! BLESS YOU! BLESS YOU!
I was dreaming about this this morning!
(But not capable of getting it together)
THanks so much for thinking about it!

How about sloppy joe BBQ? Or stick with the chicken salad. Whatever works for you!
All packed and ready to go.
Cindy, I don't anticipate having any trouble here in Northern VA, but if I do I will give you a call.
Can't wait until tomorrow.

Okay, be careful coming up the road. Safe travels!
The church is all set up. Just got home...DH got stuck at work late, so we were later getting up to church. Off to bed now - see you all in the AM for a great day of stamping! Safe travels!
What a strange feeling it is to have slept a full night - the night before a swap, instead of coming up with a card!!!! Spent aaaallllll day and evening yesterday making Valentine's Day cards. Ready for round two of being creative
Looked out the window this morning and saw grass and street. Woohoo! Thank you Mother Nature for not interfering in our day. See you all around 9:00....drive safely!
Brienne and I left at 4:10 PM and got home at 5:50 PM. Took only 35 minutes to get there. Guess the snow slowed us down a bit going home, but we are home safe.
Cindy, I have arrived home safely, am in comfy snuggling clothes, and watching the dogs frolic in the snow. What could better after a wonderful day of stamping and laughter. Thanks for another great one.

Theresa and I made it to my house. Now Theresa has to drive to Beltsville. Yes roads were slow but we did the slow and steady route and made it in just over and hour and a half.
Prayers for safe travels to everyone else.
WARM but inky hugs,
Kathy
