Gee, I didn't know you all were talking to me on here. Sorry, I can't come. I have some serious eating ahead of me. My son is making some homemade pasta for me. Yoohoo. I do want to see pictures of everyone's cards.

Paula, I got the pattern for the readers wrap. I can't wait to start knitting it. I am not sure where to buy the Aran yarn or the weight. Do you know? I am trying to make the boys mittens right now. I haven't made them sense I was in high school. lol. Not sure I will finish. And I really am not a knitter so I don't know why I have this urge.

Gloria, Aran is worsted weight so any yarn that has category 4 on the label is Aran. You can get yarn at Michael's or AC Moore. The Vanna's Choice yarn would probably work & it's inexpensive & comes in a lot of nice colors. Any of the Redheart yarns that are worsted weight would work too. You can get some more expensive yarns, but I would think for a reader cover you would want something durable so an acrylic yarn would be good. Most of the yarns I mentioned are acrylic or acrylic blends. I'd love to see the pattern. I've been thinking about trying mittens too. I've been knitting cowl scarves lately. I have a easy pattern that knits up quickly & looks nice. Do you have a pattern for the slippers you wore at the Christmas party? I think you said your sister knit them. I'd like to try some slippers too.

Ayup........now....what to do with all the TP and stuff we stocked up on to be safe in the huge storm. TGIF.........for sure. I am thinking we are in for a high scoring game but close. Excited and will enjoy watching and knowing my Mashole friends are doing the same thing. One guy has box seat (with free food and drink) as a reqard for the hard work he did on a project for his job. NICE!!!
Good luck to both teams...............hoping for a great game, regardless of the outcome! This one will be better than the superbowl.;)
