Gloria, what kind of glue are you taking with you on Saturday? I want to make sure I take the right stuff with me.
Kathi, Gloria told me she uses Scotch Quick Dry Adhesive. I need to get out tomorrow night and get me some, too! I think I have everything else we'll need. Looking forward to this!
Oh that would be cool to have you guys come and join us for lunch! The class is from 11-2. I've never taken a class there before so I don't know if the timeframe is strict or if they go over but that's what time it's supposed to end. But whether or not, it will give you more time to shop!
Both classes I've taken there go OVER in time. I totally expect this one to go over as well.
I'm a "maybe" leaning toward "probably" for going out after class. I am going to a show in Baltimore that evening. Mr. G might wanna go out to eat beforehand. If that's the case, I'll need to head home after class.

I don't have this...can someone pick me up one before class? If not...they probably sell it there...
The book is amazing in person! Kim and I already took pictures of all of the pages so we'd be ahead of the game
Here's what you to need to bring to the class on Saturday: Strong tape adhesive; fast drying liquid glue; pop dots; scissors; paper trimmer; brown ink plus our regular basic kit.
Also, there's a Chili's not far from there too where we could to go lunch.
Doesn't matter to me where we eat lunch but I'm sure
We'll be starving by the time the class is over!!
I don't care either. I will say Jane knows a KILLER mom and pop place in the area. I don't remember what it's called or where it's at tho...lol I'm just looking forward to girl time.

Thanks Mary! I will try to get out today to get some or they probably sell it there as well. Can't wait!

I don't care either, I just know I'll be hungry and am ready to spend time with everyone!
I think it will be Gloria, Angie, Mary, Kathi and me. The poor instructor won't know what hit her. She might have to separate us if we start (?) to misbehave.
Not sure my book will ever be finished. Worked all day trying to get it right.
Maybe a "make it your own" kinda project. I love it...just scared to buy the kit with no instruction. Not sure I could figure out the book...let alone the rest of it.

I have the instructions and still couldn't figure it out. The cutting of the month sheet from both sides really threw me. That's why I bought an extra page of each month. Hopefully, that will help whenever I get back to working on this, which will probably be next year!
Lucky you. I just unglued the side seams and the bottom seam and flipped it over. I cut the last page out because Kathi and I both got 13 pockets and glued them in not really knowing it. I tried to soak the binding in Undo hoping that it would come apart but no luck. Sorry I am not much help. If you go to Pineconepress.blogspot.com they have a video on how they inserted them. Did you look at the instructions on the back of the instruction sheet to see how they glued their pages in. Pretty similiar to ours but they put the last month in facing the opposite way. That way you have 1/2 inch opening on each side. They also said you could cut each flap for the binding to 1/4 inch and butt them up against the previous one. What a hose up.

That was a good idea Pete! I already cut into something on January's that I wasn't supposed to. I think I will buy some extra pages as well.

I noticed too that on the back of the instruction sheet that they had put the last month in facing the opposite way. Tracy did not tell us to do that.

I've been able to cut out all my pieces up to June. Only made one mistake cut so far. Haven't begun inking the edges of the pieces yet...or adhering them to the pages. Instructor said she finished it in a week while she was sick with the flu or something...well...maybe if I had all day every day until it was done I could finish it. But this project is rough!
