Jane, I hope you and Larry are feeling better now, can't wait to see you again! Way to go on those Christmas cards! I plan on starting mine over the weekend, let's see how far I get with them!
Mary, I hope you got to go home early yesterday! There is nothing worse than sitting around waiting for word from the higher ups!
I took off yesterday and today is a Service Reduction Day for us so that gives me 6 days off until next Monday! Woo! Hoo! I am having my kids, grandkids, a good friend and Dean's Mom over for Thanksgiving so I needed that extra time to get things ready. Went to the grocery store yesterday afternoon and it was dead! Only people there were all the senior citizens and boy do they move slow! Trying to get around them in the aisles was interesting, they all have to stop for 10 minutes to look at something and leave their cart in the middle of the aisle. LOL Oh well, I guess it won't be long and I'll be one of them!

Got my salads and pies made and I can't wait for dinner tomorrow. Jeremy is smoking a turkey and it sould be great. The girls are bringing the vegetable dishes. It should be a relaxing day. No one is stuck doing the whole dinner. And then Firday looks like it is going to be fun. Can't wait to see everyone. Hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving.
Yea for Gloria and Rose joining us tomorrow. Gloria, I have a couple of extra legal pads that I can bring for you but no extra pens. Rose, bring your paint can and we can work on that. You will need to bring some sticky tape and glue stick too.
Today was so fun! Thank you all for coming over and crafting the day away. Loving my boxes and RIBBON ANGELS!!! Thank you Kathy...you had me at ribbon! lol

What a great day. I loved making the boxes. Amanda's yours was beautiful. It was so nice to meet Sara. It was so great to see Kathi and Cindy. It seems like forever. I just wish Rose could have made it. Thank you again, Amanda, for putting up with all of us.
So sorry I missed all of the fun today. Maybe someone can show me how to make the ribbon angels. I'd love to have one for my angel tree.

Gloria, check out my blog to see the card I made with your AI back/front stamps. It was a little tricky because if I used white cardstock & Copics, it bled through. So I mounted it onto the Kraft. I'm working on the Christmas wreath one.

Yesterday was just what I needed after a hectic week of cleaning and cooking! What a wonderful day it was to get together with everyone and relax and have fun! It was so nice to meet Sara, she is such a joy and I'm glad she is going to be joining us for more events! Rose, Sara H. and Paula, you were truly missed! Amanda, thank you again for opening your home to us and sharing your ideas and tools! And of course all the food was yummy as usual!

Thats what you do to fight the lethargy??? Dang I have been doing it all wrong. I usually go out shopping or something. Never did cross my mind to mop and dust. You were definately missed. Next time for sure, right?
Doing good on the diet. I know you all were just amazed at how thin I am. No, I am not sick. I know everyone probably thought I was by how small I am but I am just hanging in there and dieting. By next week I will be so small that I will have to stand in the same place twice to cast a shadow. hee hee
Yes, another fun day crafting!!! I have to finish my notepad boxes...got several started but nothing completed!! Kathy, thanks for showing up how to make the angels...they are so pretty- glitter and all (and, by the way, I was still "wearing" my glitter this morning- but I survived! ;)
I'm so glad that Sarah was finally able to attend one of our get-togethers! She's a sweetie and hope that she'll become a regular!

Good Lord, I don't know about a black widow but this was one big spider and it had red.....
Today, I ironed a dozen valances and got them hung on the porch. Just the floor left to figure out. It is coming together so nice! Can't wait to have a stam party christening. I am so tired, I think I could go to bed right now. Laundry done, working still on cleaning my space. Worn out. How bout y'all? And tomorrow is Moanday. Sigh ............. Oh well, I think I get more rest when I work! This has been a busy few days. Don't know if you all could see the Eagles in the picture I posed but it still has me in awe!

Black Widows are black and very glossy with a large bulbous abdomen with a red hourglass on their stomach. They're only about an inch in diameter. If it was bigger, kinda hairy, and not black glossy it was probably a wolf spider.

It looked like this but I think the legs were black. Glossy all over, really fat butt part..and running directly toward me. :o

OMG, even seeing it in a picture makes me shake all over again. What is that thing called? I mean besides BIG UGLY SCARY RED SPIDER YUCK, does it have another name? Oh, wait, good morning Ladies of Meade.....It is Moanday. I can do this! Today is shopping and ironing day. Sigh............;) My life is one BIG CHORE after another.

Good morning girls! Each day I'm feeling a bit better. Spent Saturday in my jammies - too darn cold to go anywhere. Yesterday we did venture to the movies - Breaking Dawn was WOW!! Today is work - kind of quiet in here which is nice. Can get so much more done.
Amanda, thanks again for Friday. I had a great time and now have to finish decorating my boxes. Kathy, thanks for showing us the ribbon angels. I need one more part to be able to make them. I have such high intentions for this holiday season - we'll see if it all gets done. So great to hang with you ladies again.

Cindy minus her sparkle was so sad! I hope the sparkle is coming back. I know exactly how you feel. I finished 10 days of antibiotics and am still coughing. What is up with that? I mean come on........ the angels were so darn cute and I will put them on my list but feel like I am already so far behind. Oh my, so much to do and so little time.;)
