I just called, here's the deal.
Gayla and I can each book a room and bring one "non-ID'd" guest. Rooms are $41.50 (no tax). And, the place is beautiful and it's located between Kari's and Medford.

You guys are making my decision hard. I hate to do that terrible drive on Sunday (It would be even more terrible b/c I would have to take 95 for a long way!) and then go back to school on Monday! But it would be sooo much fun!

Because of tolls, it can actually cost less to fly here. Just a thought Christine. Real cheap from Richmond on Jet Blue!
Good thought Andi! I can always fly into Albany so I can visit my mom and then take Jen's taxi out to you guys.
I've been hesitating to fill out the registration form b/c I don't want to take a spot from someone who can definately come but I think I will fill it in and send it in anyway...just in case...

Wow..... it sounds like we are gonna need a place to stay.... Kari will not have room for all of us ... and we can only get 2 rooms (4 people) at the inn on base...
It's not a problem ladies, just a challenge.
The NY ladies will need to chat on Saturday in Endwell!!

I can always rent a room on base, and at some bases we can arrange for others non military to rent a room. Also, sometimes I have found hotwire to be very good in expensive areas. I got a room in DC near my office for 59, normally 240 room.

I know! Since I jumped in it became at little too much for Kari's place! I didn't REALLY want to sleep in her bathroom! LOL! I thought our future travel plans for Hudson, Boston and Buffalo would be a topic for discussion this Saturday. Should we have a name? The Traveling Stampers? The Stamping Travelers? :mrgreen:
I will be staying at my buddy Diane's apt. Turns out she is 11 minutes from Andi's. We will be celebrating her b-day that weekend!

So, I've been looking at flights...the prices are great but the times are horrible! :( So its not looking good. :( I'll keep investigating and let you know for sure ASAP!

Hey Andi, I have a question for you. Can two of us come as one? I mean my mom come with me just to get the feel of the shoebox. She's never been and I would love for her to go to one. I don't think I could get her to go and bring a shoebox but what if the two of us just made one card between us? Just a thought...Saturday is her only day off that week and I don't really want to give up quality mom time...
Let me know if you think that is okay or not and I'll go from there!

Christine, that would be fine. Or you can do what I did at the North Carolina one. I made a box for my mother in law because she was interested, but not experienced in the designing or putting the kits together. I just made two sets of kits.

Thanks! I thought about doing that, but actually my mom is quite talented just not very confident in what she does...so I think just getting her to come would be an accomplishment. I will let you know.

Ha, your mom and my mom should sit together. Maybe combined, they would qualify as one person. :rolleyes:
My mom stamps, but she is slow and needs lots of help.
