I'm moving to houston Texas, and I don't know anyone
Hi everyone, I'm moving to houston and I know no one. I think I will be living in harris county. so please let me know if your going to be in this area.
I live just SW of there in Sugar Land ;) There are quite a few SCSers here in the Houston area. We just completed 2 shoebox swaps in the last 2 weeks. (And I'm exhausted!!)

sea777: There is a thread on the forum entitled Get It Together--that is where all the information about the Shoebox swaps are located. I also know of some other meet and greet groups that get together regularly. Send me a pm if you would like more information.

Hi I'm in Spring (Gleannloch Farms). I'd be willing to put together a shoebox or something. I haven't stamped much in the year that I've lived here because I haven't found any crafty gals. I'm actually headed back up to Milwaukee next month to meet up for a scrappin/stampin weekend with my friends up there.

Hi mschoener. I'm Melisa. I live in Atascocita. Where is Spring Branch?? Houston is so big and has so many little communities all around the city. I pretty much stay in my little neck of the woods. I work in the Woodlands though. I have made it to Katy - Archivers and Friendswood - Novel Approach several times since I moved here last year. I wish I had a stamp / scrapbook store closer. It's a shame the one in Spring closed down last year.

Hi Melisa. First, thanks for stopping by my blog. I popped over to both of yours, but don't have time to really check it all out while I'm here at work. Will do that over the weekend.
I've lived in Houston for a long time - since 1970. Spring Branch is not close to you. It's between the Katy Freeway (I-10) and Hwy. 299 on the North/South sides and Loop 610 and Beltway 8 to the East and West. I love to go to Archivers out in Katy, but only make the trip once in awhile because I spend too much money when I go there. ;) My dream is to actually work there someday.

I was born and raised in Houston from 1971 - 1999 when I moved up here to NH for my husband's family. I lived on the west side at Highway 6 and Westheimer and Dairy Ashford and Briarforest (when I was younger).
