ok so I had to go yesterday and figure out where the Scrapbook Warehouse is and (to map my way there so I know where I am going next week)...... since I was there I had to go in. The first time I have been to this place and I LOVED it!! This store is fabulous!! It's so huge and full of every scrapbooker's dream products. I must say though that the people not so friendly. The people at Recollections in Frisco are so much nicer and helpful. Just my opinion.
Here's a little bit of info on the location of the Scrapbook Warehouse in Lewisville (a place I'm WAYYYY too familiar with). I don't know what the time/place for the meeting is, but here's the info:
SBW is located in a shopping center on I-35E (Stemmons) between Hwy 121 & Hebron Pkwy. (this is Round Grove Rd./FM 3040 on the other side of the freeway). Hopefully this link will work: http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp...te=tx&zipcode=
The shopping center is on the east side of Stemmons. Restaurants in the shopping center are Souper Salad, Mimi's, Abuelos, and a few others -- maybe a Salt Grass. Directly across the freeway from the shopping center is Vista Ridge Mall with LOTS of restaurants surrounding it.
Ok, so I think we are going to meet at 1:30. Someone, please make a suggestion, I love italian or mexican. So list some places and then we can vote? Sound good.
Oh, btw, sorry for not updating, we have had some major drama, come up. Anyway, everyone, throw in your $.02!!!
We are leaving to go to St Louis for a week on Tuesday and I'll be gone all day on Monday to the allergist (for ds#2 and then for allergy testing for myself). Since I may be feeling kinda crappy after that I have to have everything ready Sunday. SOOOOOOOOO.....I'll be doing laundry and packing. I have to pack for everyone but dh so I'll need the whole day, lol!
I am totally bumed! Emily, that is so wrong. I bet if you handed each one of the boys their suitcase they could pack them selves. So what if all they bring is Spiderman pjs. No one will ever notice :rolleyes:

Italian: Macaroni Grill or Johnny Carino's
Other: Chili's or Souper Salad (I did not find a listing for Mimi's in Lewisville...)

well, keep me in the maybe column....depends on how much I can get done on Saturday.
Seeing how you posted theis 5 hours ago and it is now 5:30am you must really be burning the midnight oil! We will defiantly keep you in the "I Hope So" column. Now where are those darn pj's? ;)

yeah, I was up til Midnight....I wanted to make something with my new papers and stamps, but by the time I got all the colors organized with my current stuff I was too tired to do any more than 1! Maybe today!
I'm so excited, I'm living in Lewisville with my daughter right now and know where the Scrapbook Warehouse is and would love to meet with you guys! I had just posted that I would love to meet with any of you if you ever get together. I'm not realy good at getting around on the forum page yet so would someone please email me at [email protected] with the final plans. There is a good mexican restaraunt, El Fenix across I-35 from the SBW. I have only lived here about a month and wanted to be with crazy people like me that share the same addiction! Thanks so much!
OK, I change my vote from El Fenix to Abuelos! I ate there last night for the first time and loved that place! Plus we don't have to go back on the interstate to get to SBW, it's in the same parking lot so to speak. Have we decided on a time and place to meet yet?
Update: I am so sorry to leave ya'll hanging. Rachel (rfain) and I have been busy tring to get things in order for her big move. I haven't had time to check this site in a while. It looks like it will be around 1:30 @ Abuelo's! I'm cooking a gumbo & it's ready so when I get thru eating I will pm everyone. Yeah!!!!!!!! See ya'll tomorrow!!

Ohhh, I wish I could be there right now! We moved from NRH to Shreveport, and this wasn't a "go back home" weekend. Maybe next time though. Hope you're having fun!
I am sooooo stuffed (but my wallet isn't ;) ). That lunch was the best!!!!!! OMG, and the cheesecake for dessert was the bomb! We got a really great "family" picture that I will post when we get home tomorrow. It was so great meeting these special ladies & I don't think I quit talking once! And you wonder how I got so many post :mrgreen: Thanks for such a great time ladies & who knows, we may meet again.:-D
I missed this one. My parents came over and it was the first time she had been over since her surgery so I couldn't leave. I hope we can plan another one soon.
