I live in Gilbert Az. Lately I have been seriously bored and missing all my stamping buddies. They have moved out of the area, given up stamping or simply become too busy to meet up for a play day. I would really love a play day. I've read about the shoebox events where people bring projects to share and I was wondering if anyone in my area would like to plan a morning or afternoon to get-together and play. I'd be more than happy to host if anyone is interested.
If it's on a day I am off, I'd love to. Right now, I am working at Recollections (opening a new store in Chandler) so my days off aren't consistent. If I can, I'll be there. I'm not sure about a shoebox thing, haven't ever participated in one of those. Let me know...:cool:
It's not that far...just checked out How far is it? and it's only 1367 miles. You can make a fun trip out of it. Well, if you are a better car traveler than I am I guess. Come on over.

You are too funny. I haven't posted an avatar yet because I couldn't find my picture. The computer was acting up so dh put in a new hard drive. All my pictures are on CDs and flash drives. I found it yesterday when looking for some pictures for work so I'll put it in my avatar tomorrow.
It was so nice of you to come in today Joy. I had so much fun meeting you. I am so sorry I was not able to visit much.

I've got a good friend in Gilbert (not a stamper) - was there for her wedding (3rd) in October - we're thinking of someday moving out there - loved the Gilbert/Chandler area! Now back to our regularly scheduled thread...

I live in Chandler, my upline is here also, we both came from orange county, ca and we used to participate in these kind of "play dates" and I think we've both been having withdrawals. I also have a downline here, none of us have ordered any of the new sets or colors, we're holding out until July.
