Hi Dody,

We just noticed the conflict. Maybe next time.

oh, I'm just so sorry for her ;) ! but at least she will be bringing you back lots of great ideas!
looking forward to seeing you Renee! It's been a long time!
I can't wait to see you too! I was thinking of you lately! Actually I drove up your way today went to Archivers!!!
I am still thinking of my idea... I am thinking along the lines of camping, using the Pines set????? Not sure yet I will have to play around with it first. Ugh not much time either. Ok I am panicking now cause if I have to have that by the 11th I also have to have a gift for the coaches for basketball, just something small. Then one of the moms mentioned something about a scrapbook for each of the girls (on my oldest team luckily that is 9) so I mentioned doing squash books (which I will have to show her first) Oh man that and Valentines. Ugh Ok I will come up with something that is the easy part! LOLOLOL!
I would like to officially sign up! Me (Beth), my downline Jenni (aka Juniper) who came with me to the last gathering in Woodstock, and if there is room, I might bring my preteen daughter (Micaela) who LOVES to stamp. If that is okay. I wouldn't dream of bringing my son or my 5 year old daughter, but my 10 yo DD is quiet and crafty. If you have an age requirement, let me know. I won't be offended and I haven't mentioned it to her yet, so she won't even know.
We will all do the card shoebox swap. I have to check with Jenni to see if she wants to do the 6x6, but I won't be able to do that one.
And sign us up for the dirty stamper game.
Thanks!!!

I put you & Jenni & Micaela down. I certainly have no problem with Micaela coming if she wants to stamp. You know your daughter better than we do & if she will enjoy a full day of stamping....God Bless her!!!! If she does get a little bored maybe she could go into the library & read play on a computer.
If anyone else has a problem with it PM me & we'll decide.
Here are the rules:
The Dirty Stamper Game is played like the game everyone plays at Christmas....you bring a nicely wrapped gift and put in in the center. Everyone draws numbers and gets to chose a gift in that order. You may chose a new unwrapped gift or you may steal a gift from someone else. #1 gets to chose again after everyone has gone. Usually a gift is frozen after it has been stolen 3 times. Last year we made all the gifts be stamp or scrap related with a value of $10-$15.
See you soon!!!

I just had an idea for anyone doing the 6x6 swap..... anyone who hasn't picked out a theme yet might want to 'piggy back' on with someone else so we have a 2 page spread that matches. For example, my theme is a day at the park but I went very generic & it could be used for camping/hiking/picnicing etc. If you wanted to do a matching page pm me & I'll tell you what colors & stamps I used. Just an idea....
Sign me up for the dirty stampers!!! Did I see that you were looking for some door prizes? If so I have a couple of extra SAB sets - let me know if you want them!!! Theresa
I'm closing this out next Saturday or as soon as we get 3 more stampers. Please check page 1 post#28 to make sure everything is correct for you. A few have still not decided on cards 6x6 or both yet. I think we need the month to get everything together, don't you?
Thanks for all the help everyone has been offering. I hope things keep running smoothly.
I'll do name tags this time. I kinda did last time but I will do 'real' ones this time around. Let me know if you want me to do this.
I was also thinking that it might be nice to do a service project for the community since they are letting us use the library. I would be happy to do an extra shoebox swap for everybody to make and then I can donate them to a hospital or RMH. I will supply all the ingredients and envies and deliver them. It would be totally optional for people to make. Let me know on this one too.
Dody,
Add a fellow demonstator to the list. Deb Cozzone will be coming and she will do a card, 6x6, and the Dirty Stampers game. We are going to do a double layout together with the 'Pool" theme.
Thanks,
Pam

Pam, You must have read my mind about the name tags!!!! I was just thinking about that this morning but was going to wait until closer to March to ask for a volunteer. THANK YOU!!!
As for the service project, I think it's a great idea. Any thoughts from others?
I am thinking that we will be having to take projects home to finish. Is anyone willing to take pictures to post on this site after the swap? No stress, just fun! Let's keep this enjoyable!
For those of you who want to get started putting your swaps together, so far we have 21 doing cards & 11 doing 6x6s. Still waiting to hear from a few more...
I will bring the extra SAB sets for door prizes - do you want them wrapped or unwrapped - maybe with a just a ribbon & tag? Let me know and I will handle - anything else just say the word.

Thanks Susie, I appreciate you letting us know. Here's who we still need to hear from:
Woodstock Stamper & RoanneStamps....are you still coming?
Chauveen, harrise, khowardga, rlsjohnson, gramstampin, niecybug, Micaela and tex ~ we still need to know what you want to play with
I'm coming....I would like to play the dirty stamper game....but I'm not sure what you mean by "what you want to play with?" I have been trying to follow the thread, but I guess I'm confused. Hee Hee. This will be my first shoe box swap.....I am designing a card. (No 6X6) Is that what you needed to know? Is there a link to exactly how the shoebox swap works? Just so I can refresh my memory? I know I read it somewhere....

What if we all also include one of our swaps already made up to donate?

What a great idea! If everybody who makes a card for the swap brings an extra already made then I will supply envies and deliver them! If your card has a specific message then maybe you could alter it (just the card for donation) a little to be more along the lines of a 'thank you' or 'thinking of you' card.
