Would love to know when you get together. I probably couldnt be ready for the SBS. it takes me forever, and I mean forever, to come up with an idea for anything. Its a big group too. I will try to keep my eye on here too if I dont hear from you. thanks. R
I just saw that your posting food items, I'll bring Eclair Dessert!
What other things would you like?? Do you need paper items or a case of water? Mom was wondering what she could bring.
Hi all, Just saw this. I was thinking I will keep an eye out for the next sbs and think about attending. I live in Columbia, just down the road a piece and I need a "push" to get myself moving with the card making. Sounds like you guys have fun. Where do you guys meet (I surfed thru the comments but didnt see it)? Hope to meet up w/you some time. Rose
Hi Rose and welcome! This is definitely a fun group and will give you the push you need to get motivated! Hope you can join us sometime! Love your avatar of your pooch! What a cutie!
Amanda, a couple of things.............I am brining blueberry bread, Sara is brining cookies. Jill is not coming but I filled her spot with a friend of Lisa Chatterjees, and her name is Cindy. I didn't want to leave you short a spot! Thanks so much.

Thanks for asking. I live off of rt 5 just after the split with 301 as it enters Charles County. I go up 301 every now and then, my sister lives near Towson in Nothern Baltimore and I have a SIL in Sykesville. And being from NY it is the way we travel north. Since we have traveled to Sykesville using 32, I have seen Ft Mead, but never stopped. I am a military spouse so I do have an ID.

I am coming to the SBS in March, and thought I would take a minute to introduce myself. I am a grandmother of 2 (soon to be 3) - if I had known that having grandchildren was so much fun, I would have had them first. LOL
This is my first SBS and it sounds like a lot of fun. My daughter is also coming (she's the one who signed me up). We both live in Eldersburg (Sykesville to some people) and neither of us have a military ID. Can anyone tell me what we need to get on base?
We both have our altered items done, and a template for our card. I'm debating what to bring to eat - most of what I've been thinking about uses a crockpot, but I don't know if there would be a plug to plug it in to.
I'm really looking forward to this swap and meeting all of you. See you soon.
I don't have a military id either, but it is really simple. You need to bring id (drivers liscnece (sorry I can't spell)) and whatever regestraion papers for the car. When you enter the base they will pull you off the the side (looks like a Jiffy lube ;) ) and you get out open all the doors, trunk, hood and they inspect and send you on your way. No big deal-especially since we are not wearing jammies this time. ;)
I know in the past there was a place to plug in crock pots, I think we are changing locations again, but I am fairly certain there will be a place. Amanda can answer for sure.
Hope that helps-can't wait to meet you!

Looks like Sara answered your Base question so just diddo that. Thank you Sara!
We will be at the same location as the last swap. I will PM Directions a couple days before the swap and will also give everyone my cell number again.
We have plenty of outlet space for crock pots. I'm also going to bring power strips so no problems there. Crock Pots are the best because we do NOT have the use of an oven.
Thanks Audrey great questions!

Haven't been home much today but wanted to let you all know that I won't be able to attend the swap on the 7th. I will miss seeing you all, and meeting those who will be attending for the first time. I have let Amanda know also. I will be able to help her with as much as I can up until the 7th. And I'd like to ask a favor....if some of you can help her out the day of the swap it would be great. And I know that you'll be there, cause that's the kind of ladies you are!
For those of you attending this swap for the first time, you're going to have a great time! It's a really fun swap!
It sounds like a lot of fun. Now I'm off to make sure I have my registration papers for the car (you wouldn't think I'd have to make sure, but you would be wrong - LOL) and to decide what to bring to eat.

What she said! Unfortunately I am not going to be able to make it. My dh is going to France on a business trip and he is taking me with him!
If there is no one that wants the spot I am still willing to prep the cards and drop them off ahead of time, but if someone wants my slot I am sure it would be more fun to have the extra person there. Sorry, no dancing from me this time.

Oh, can I stow away in your luggage?? I've always wanted to go to France! One of these days, maybe....
We'll miss you're dancing, but I know you'll have a great time on your trip! Take lots of pictures!!!
Lots of chatter today. Well I've been working on swap stuff today. I've got the gift baskets together and the sponsor packets. You all are going to be some spoiled stampers!
