Hi Ladies, Just letting all of you know that we have been able to change the date for the Stampin' Along the Lake gathering to the 26th of March. Have a great weekend and hopefully we will be able to see some of you in Hamburg in March.
This is the list I will use to determine the final numbers. I won't finalize it until February, so take a look and if you want to sign up for Card fronts or ATCs and haven't yet done so, there is plenty of time. I also want you to give a title to your shoebox card so I can make a check off sheet for each of you.

just want to check in and say I may not check in often but I am here and if anything were to happen where I had to drop or ask a question I will let you know asap. I just don't get time to log on SCS often enough. I am going to wait also until Isee the new mini to see if I make a shoebox card from that.
I also will be bringing food not a m&t but not sure what yet. Summary- I will be doing who knows what and bringing who knows what but I will definetly be bringing them! got it? lol sorry, I'm hopped up on cold meds right now.. I think it is time to shut down the computer and climb into bed before I drunk dial someone! (or Theraflu dial someone in this case) lol

Hi ladies, Can any of you give me some feedback on the different embossing & die cut machines? I am thinking of getting one for my upcoming birthday. I have only used a Big Shot. I am so confused after checking overstock.com, ebay, etc. Is the Big shot electric machine worth the extra $$$? I would like to cut nested ovals and rounds and emboss also. Where's the best place to buy the various dies from? Anybody regret investing the $$$ for the machine they purchased? Thanks

I love the cuttlebug you can get with a 40 or 50% off coupon and it does the nesties and the folders and other dies. I LOVE the big shot in electric it is so much easier and I find the slide through is easier big time! Joann fabrics online you can get them for $101 or so when on sale. Then you get free shipping.
If I come, do I get velvet ear snuzzies from Jackson?

I have the Cricut and don't use it that often....
I am in love with my Big Shot!! I use it often and every chance I get. I can use it when our electricity is out... and in the winter we do loose power freq! I can still make my cards....

Which county? I googled it and see there are two in NY, is it the one before Albany?

In 15 days. I was thinking of having the dogs tell Dad to buy me a Big Shot Value pack from ebay. But it gets confusing as to which pieces you need. One of the descriptions mentioned a silicone mat, etc. I have a question into the seller. I don't want to get it and then not be able to use it because I am missing a piece.
This thread might be helpful for those shopping the day of this gathering (bear in mind that geography is not my strong point and I did not look at a map)
On the Berlin Tpke in Newington there is a Michael's & a Joanne's. In Manchester there is a bigger Michael's & Joann's in the same shopping plaza and an AC Moore down the same road not too far. In Manchester, there is also a Final Markdown, but they only have stamping goodies sporadically. TJMaxx & Marshall's are both on the Silas Deane Highway in Wethersfield and they also sporadically get matstacks, paper, punches and other items.
If you wind up going to Manchester, stop at Shady Glen, they are famous for their cheesburgers - the way they melt the cheese it looks like angel wings & they have good ice cream. If you are in the mood for an Italian dinner Franklin Avenue is 10 minutes from the police station and that is CT's "Little Italy"
Very rainy, damp, chilly, headache weather....
Going to curl up in my chair in front of the fire with Jackson on my lap...
