I finally got around to registering with May Arts and browsing their catalog, it was torture let me tell you! I wanted everything! So I picked my favorite ribbons and posted a ribbon share over on my blog. Spaces are very limited, so if you're interested please check it out and let me know!

I'll still be bringing grab bags of ribbon to our swap for the yard sale table. I have quite an assortment of the May Arts ribbon that are just waiting to be used.
I don't use mono anymore since I discovered the Kokuyo Tape 'n' Roller last year at CKC
So, I found my stamps... go figure, they were on the stamp shelf... who knew! Mock up is made, card stock is cut and bagged Now, let's just hope I don't lose any of it before the swap :rolleyes:

Does anyone know of a LSS in the Mechanicsburg, Carlisle, Camp Hill area? DH, 2 DS, and I have 4 hours to kill while DH's car gets worked on. I thought it would be a good way for me to wiggle in some shopping.

Ack! I'm stressed out enough without anything else to bring! What is in the water down there in Ft. Meade?? You ladies are super efficient! I've got two weddings (480 favors), this swap (still undesigned), a fabulous nametag to make, and DT work for the 2 DTs. Ack! How about instead of ATC's you all get in the car and drive over to my house to help me out... Please?! I'll make brownies!
I'm kidding, kind of. I think the ATC swap sounds like fun, I just know there is NO way I can find time to participate. And I'm saying that loud and clear now so I don't find myself at the 11th hour the night before rushing to make some ATC's. I can't take on anything else.
How about you all make Christmas cards for me? I mean for everyone! Inspiration cards that we can post on a board for everyone to gawk at your greatness!

I am with you Brandi, I don't have time to do anything else right now!!! There is so much on my plate and I still need an idea for my card and I'll need to help mom with her's too.

Okay, that was my thinking too but I don't have a good excuse for feeling that way like Brandi certainly does! (The thought of having to make 480 wedding favors is enough to stress me out just reading Brandi's post - nevermind the other stuff!)
Oh, and Brandi - I could be tempted to help with favors in exchange for a brownie or two!!

You are to only have one completed sample with directions. I am copying and pasting the info you need from the requirements that Becky had posted.
Shoebox Swap- By popular vote, we will be doing a shoebox swap this get together! All cards are to be full cards. Each card must use at least two layers and one embellishment. Please bring enough supplies for everyone to make your card including all cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools, etc. Make sure all of your supplies (stamps, ink pads, scissors, punches, etc.) are labeled with either your name or initials, so we all go home with the stuff we brought. Supplies are not limited to any manufacturer, but please use high quality cardstock.
Each person should have a sample and typed instructions in their box telling how to make your card. Each swap should be in its own individual baggie or envelope that contains everything each person needs to do your card. This should help the the swap go more smoothly.
Hope this helps clear up the confussion for you. We will be stamping everyone elses cards.

We have 21 ladies coming so you'll need to make up at least 20 kits and then 1 completed design to show everyone your finished card.
I personally will be making 26 kits, just in case someone makes a mistake or I mis-cut some items.
