I will post directions for the secret meeting on Sunday and the day of the swap on Wednesday. I can not remember the one of the exit numbers..which I will get this afternoon.
Directions to Copier Sales and Service, Inc. For April 13th meeting and 26th swap. Copier Sales and Service, Inc. is in red letters on the front of the building. Our address is 8610 Farrow Road but we do not have access from Farrow Road. The service road behind the Waffle House is our access road.
Coming from Florence, Camden, Lugoff...take I-20 to exit 76A I-77 toward Charlotte, once on I-77 get off at exit 19 which is Farrow Road. At the top of the exit ramp turn right and at the 2nd light take a left. Turn left like you are going to the Waffle House, we are the last building on the left, a blue siding building. I will have balloons out.

Coming from the Irmo, Harbison Area...I-26 to I-20. Once on I-20 take exit 72 which is the Farrow Road exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp turn left.

Woe is me. I will not be coming to the Carolina Girls. I'm flying to MI on the 23rd to move my mother down to Charleston. We are to start driving back on the 28th. I know everyone will have a wonderful time.. All you newbies will feel at home right away with this great group of ladies. Have a great time and keep me in your prayers for a safe trip back to Charleston from MI.

Girls, I have to cancel too - which means my bff grandma joan can't come either. My mom has been in the hospital and then a rehab facility. She is coming home on April 24 and I'll have to stay with her over the weekend. Maybe next time!

Big lucy has the scrapbook and she is giving it to my DH who is in Charleston today. He is going to bring it to me so I can bring it Sunday! Whew..... I"m tired just thinking about it!!!

Did y'all change the format and are having a swap instead of a shoe box for the semi-annual CGs? Just curious, even tho I can't come I still like to check this space often to see what everyone is up to.
Amy T - I forgot that Claudia was supposed to bring you the Scrap book but she is so 'on the ball' I knew she would take care of getting it to you. LOL Thank you Theresa.

Well, once again, my plans were poo-poo'd! Bob scheduled a baseball practice and Audrey had a make up piano lesson @ 2pm. Guess who's plan's get put to the back burner - MINE!
This will be for anyone who has stamping supplies that they just don't have a use for anymore; and they would like to trade them for new supplies or just give them away to a good home...
We are going to have 2 "garage swap" tables set up so bring those supplies that are collecting dust and trade them for something you might actually use!
The first table will be for items like stamp sets that you want to make sure you get a fair trade for. Jane will be taking care of this table and she will post more details about it this week.
The second table will be for smaller items. You drop your items off and then pick up other items you would like to take home. For the first half of the day we will ask that you only take as many items as you added to the table. Then later in the day an announcement will be made and everyone can re-visit the table to find homes for the left-over items.
Omigosh it looks like you all are going to have such a blast!! I keep checking back to see details and wish my dd didn't have prom on the same night because we would definetly be planning a girls weekend in Columbia.
I am happy to come to my first big Carolina Girls event! I will participate in the door prize and the shoebox swap. I am going to bring Strawberry Spinach salad. I am excited to meet everyone there!! Lynda Grossman
