Ladies,
I just wanted to send out a great big THANK YOU to all who participated. I was amazed at the projects and how organized people were with their kits. Also amazing was the generosity of people who brought door prizes. Another round of thanks for those who donated cards and other things to the hospice house. Joanne will be taking them shortly.
I did want to let you know we've got some scissors left behind. If you find yours missing, shoot me a description and I'll check to see if yours are among those we have.
Also, please check through your things and see if the missing circle stamp on the smallest Stampin' Up! Block and missing 7/8" scalloped circle punch got mixed up with your things. I know it was a little crazy when we were going in and out of rooms for swapping. I can easily see how something could have been misplaced as we scrambled. If you find them, you can PM me here and well figure out a way to get them back to their rightful owners.
I had a great day. It was nice to see so many "newbies" as well as so many "seasoned veterans" . ( I was going to say "old faces", but not a one of us is old, are we?)
Another event is in the works for March. More info to follow!
Home safely by 9:30 p.m. thanks to Sherry's driving skills!
HUGE thank you to Joanne and Beth for a job well done!!! Thanks to the "odd" people for all the nice shoebox projects!

I would like to thank Joanne and Beth for an absolutely fantastic event. I had a great time and hope to be able to attend again in the future! Thank you everyone who attended, brought shoe box projects (that were fantastic) swaps (unbelievable cute), doorprices, participated in the gift exchange(thank you again to the Lady who made my tags in a box), etc.
I usually never win anything and I feel like I cleaned up yesterday! It realy made me feel special.

Thanks to Beth and Joanne for a great day. Loved the location and food. The "odd" shoeboxes were great loved all my swaps. And really like my gift swap the stationary holder and cards are great.
A huge THANKS to Joanne and Beth for a FAB day. Your organization was awesome, the door prizes were amazing and the make-n-takes were wonderful. Thanks to everyone for the creative shoebox projects. I'm still processing all the great ideas!
The dove die that I used on my shoebox card in the "odd" room is called Wings of Peace by Penny Black (NOT Impression obsession like I thought). I found it online at EllenHutson.com The branch punch is one of EK Success' flat punches but I haven't found the name of it, yet. Glad everyone likes my card! The bonus with this die is that it is a two-fer because you can use the dove outline that is leftover for another project.
BTW, Penny Black has another die called Love and Joy that cuts out Love, Joy, Peace, and Merry in a script font that is really nice. I used the Peace on my polar bear (memory Box stamp and die) NVR Cardfront. Sign up for Ellen Hudson's email for discounts. Once you do place an order you will get email discounts for future orders and her processing and shipping are fast.

As always you did an wonderful job in preparing for the event, and getting all of us organized!! Thank you again to Edie for the lovely gift bags, so generous!! God Bless her. It was a pleasure to meet her daughter, what a cutie...hope to see her at more of these.
Everyone was so sweet and friendly yesterday..I had such a nice time. And now I am able to put a few faces with names I see on here all the time. Looking forward to another one in spring...guess I should start preparing..lol

I'm just putting the finishing touches of a heart scrap and a red heart on my snowman tags for your swap. Didn't realize how much kittens loved thread and buttons to chase.
