This will probably embarrass Meg; but I consider her attendance to be a celebrity appearance! Keep those registrations coming! Tell your friends that WAXYO will be there!

Are you kidding me???? I was SUPER excited when I saw that WAXYO was going to be there, almost nervous even that my project wouldn't meet up to her expectations. I can't even begin to tell you how much space she takes up in my favs. For those of you that aren't familiar with her work check out her gallery! IMHO she's awesome!
P.S. Sarah~Kelly's registration is on the way! I'm getting VERY excited!

wow! I have no expectations - just that we have a good time! I hope I don't disappoint!
I owe some of you a big apology! I was emailed by someone today who pointed out to me that the date I chose for this event was also Rosh Hashanah. This was the email I sent in reply to her; and I thought I'd post it for all to see. I certainly never ment to offend or exclude anyone. I hope you all understand.
I apologize; and I hope you will understand that was absolutely not my intent. Looking now at my personal Calendar I have noted that Rosh Hashanah is not even listed in my Office Max purchased planner! It would never have been a date choice for me had I known this would be a conflict for even one person. You are the first person to mention this issue to me; and I really appreciate you pointing this out. I am truly sorry you are (understandably) not able to attend and I hope you will attend future events with us.
On a more positive note; I will be contacting all you you this week via email (if you gave it to me) or phone. PLEASE! If you do not hear from me by next Friday, September 15th, email or PM me. I will update the final list tomorrow with a few more checks/registrations I received, and I will be depositing the checks this week.
If you still want to attend but haven't yet mailed a registration them please PM me. I will take last minute registrations up to the date of September 15th.
Carol... I am so not a direction savey gal... but The swap itself is in the burbs... perhaps someone can give you a way to drive that bi-passes the city???
OK... I posted the final list... I will create an email and send it to everyone on FRIDAY.... (I have a big Stamp Camp tomorrow!) So contact me on SATURDAY if you didn't get an email or a call from me.
I had a total blast - thanks for all the effort that you put into this. It was a great time, and I have some awesome cards now due to the talented ladies who were there!

Thank you SO much Sarah for all your hard work! What a great time! I've organized many events so I know what goes into planning something like that and you spent alot of time, energy and thought on this! I loved the way you did the gift exchange -- such a great idea! The boxed lunches were fantastic, the candy on the tables (YUM)! I also have to say that I have rarely been around such a friendly group of gals! Everytime I sat down at a table, people were introducing themselves, chit-chatting with me -- no one should be afraid of coming to one of these on their own! I didn't think that 30 cards was too many -- in fact, even if you do offer demonstrations at the next event, I'd still have the large number of cards -- they were all so fun to make! I'm so sorry I had to take off early though! I didn't know until we got to the library that the gal who drove us had to leave by 3:00 to be somewhere else by 4:00 or I would have gladly stayed longer! ANYWAY -- it was a huge success in my book and count on me to give you a hand with anything you need should you do another event! Thank you once again!!!
Kudos to Sarah for pulling this off without a hitch!!! What a great event...I will for sure be attending in March, and cannot wait to show the great swaps to my friends, customers, and fellow stampers/dowlines, sidelines, upline....ooh-sarah, you better see if you can get a banquet hall....I don't know if 80 will be enough for all!! hehehe.....What a great day we had!!

Wow, what a GREAT day!!! Thank you, Sarah, for organizing such a wonderful event! Everything was perfect ~ You did an amazing job putting it all together! I'm in awe of how you stretched the budget to include so much great stuff. Congrats to you on the success of the event!!!
And thanks to everyone else for making it so much fun. Everyone was super nice and designed such beautiful, creative cards. Can't wait to do it again in March!
By the way, I want to be sure proper credit is given for the inspiration for the card I designed for the swap (the celery pocket card / gift card holder). The idea is from Sereikastamper; see it in her gallery here: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I included her name on the recipe sheets, but want to be sure everyone saw it. I thought it was a great idea for a pocket card, but totally NOT my idea!

WOW!!!! What a great time we had! Thanks to Sarah for such a terrific day. The cards were unbelievable and I agree that everyone was so friendly. It was awesome meeting everyone espeacially Meg (WAXYO) and Sarah (STARAMAZE) as their works are very much so in my favorites. I'm trying to talk my husband into doing the twins 1st birthday either the week before or after so that I can attend if it is held on the 10th. I just had such a great time that I don't want to miss the next one. Thanks again and I look forward to checking out all your works of art in your galleries!

Oh and I was thinking maybe we could try to Leigh O'Brien(dirty dozen girl) to join us the next time I believe she lives in Crystal Lake which is closer than me. Wouldn't that be SUPER!

I have such good time and came home with a long list of items I want to order. my husband is modifying and will cut my list for sure. I think the SU ladies is the most friendy and helpful people I ever meet. it is worth every $$ to me. but my opinion don't count at this time. I want to be part of the group. I am appreciate Sarah let me be part of it. I want to stay all the way on next one!

Still up in the air; I will let you know as soon as I chat with the library! I WAS shooting for March 10th... But I think I will try to check a few dates; as Seewah can't make the 10th!
March 10th...I just emailed Pat the information and a link to this thread
This is definitely NOT set in stone yet! Sorry if there was a misunderstanding! I need to make sure our location is availible!!! Plus I would like to consider other dates because I really would like Seewah and Waxyo to be able to participate too!
Wow, Sarah, that must have been a lot of work to post photos of all the cards. Thanks for doing that! I couldn't remember who designed which cards, so it's good to have a record of all that. THANKS again for all your hard work to give us such a great day on Saturday!
