Chicago Area Shoebox Swap

Space is limited to 30.
You do not need to be a Demonstrator to attend.
No Stamper will be turned away!

Shoe-box swaps are to be full cards. Please bring 3 complete cards as well
as supplies for 30 people to make your card: cardstock, stamps, inks, embellishments, tools.
(Please make sure your name is on all your supplies!) Include a sample of your
project with stamping and assembly instructions on your shoe-box.
(Current Stampin� Up! supplies are strongly encouraged.)
Your shoe-box swap needs to
be able to be completed in 6-8 minutes. Everyone will bring their own adhesive and scissors.

There is a $28 registration fee per person that covers the hall rental, lunch,
chocolate, door prizes, and water and oh did I say chocolate.

This event is organized by Dee Tollaksen and Catherine Healy, and is the follow-up event to the past two shoeboxes hosted by Dee and Catherine. We had so much fun, we have to do it again!

Email and phone reservations are coming in, and these are good. . . but a check and registration form will hold your seat, otherwise your spot is just "on hold" not really reserved! Let's really fill these seats and make some great cards!

The 3 x 3 swap is completely optional. I will run a survey of all participants the week before the shoebox to determine a number and let you all know how many people are planning to swap.

Well, 16 people is good, watch your email for details, and if you haven't sent in your registration but are thinking of attending, please post here so we know to increase our preparations!

What is the absolute deadline for you to receive registration?? I am still debating whether or not to attend. Don't get me wrong, I'd LOVE to participate, but there's a chance I could be starting a new job next week and may not have much time to prepare supplies for the swap.

I am thinking hard, and I don't have a firm answer--everyone was kind of planning for 20 people, so I think if you decide by Monday, everyone would already have enough supplies to include you. So would that be enough time? Will you know after this weekend?

Two more people have registered, and one dropped out, and one is trying to clear her calendar so she can come, so at this time, we have 17, maybe 18. . . there is still room for at least a couple more--the room we reserved will easily hold 20 stampers. . . any more interest?
