Thank you to everyone that sent me a card for my Birthday. It was truly great. I never realize how much I enjoyed getting handmade cards until this year for my Bday. There are some really talented ladies in this group. Have a great week.
Good Morning Ladies...
Just a brief update on my lovelife. Last Wednesday we decided to get married December 22, 2007...in just 3 short weeks....Yes I crazy. But I will say that with God's help everything and I literally mean EVERYGTHING has fallen into place. All I have left to do are the invites and wedding programs. Which I placed an overnight order last night to SU to get the rest of the goodies I need to complete the above stated items. We are having a very small family wedding and then a HUGE party in the spring in which all of you will be invited. I love you all and ask that you keep us in your thoughts and prayers during the one of the happiest times of our lives....

BTW, I mailed out your birthday card and Elizabeth's today so you'll have that this week. I can't believe I got behind the first month and it was my idea! Sorry for the delay!
Christmas is my favorite time of year, and having a Christmas wedding has always been a dream....so dreams do come true. We are very excited. No Honeymoon now, we are spending the night at a local Bed and Breakfast. We both love cruises so I'm sure after the 1st of the year we will look into that. I'm excited about the carriage ride. A local carriage company offers these tours around Camden. She is a big deal around town. Lots of brides and grooms use her services. She is picking us up at the church and taking us to our favorite restaurant for dinner with our family...then she will pick us back up and takes us to the bed and breakfast. I keep telling everyone Cinderella is riding in a carriage with her Prince Charming.....Thanks for all the love and support...
Hi Ladies...so I've been seeing lots of posts about people doing Card Front swaps. Is anyone interested in doing one? If there's interest, it might be something fun to do once a month so there are things to keep us going between get togethers. I can host it with no problem. We can have a monthly sign up and designate a theme for everyone to follow. Then everyone sends their card fronts to me with postage and self addressed envelopes and when I get them all, I send them out to you. Let me know if there is interest. I was thinking we'd get it all set up to start in January!

I think a monthly cardswap would be great. I just do not find a great deal of use for card fronts, so if we did cards we all could use then sign me up. I know what all of you are saying, Come on Amy, just adhere the card front to a folded piece of cardstock....I just never find time to do that...so complete cards work better for me...

If full cards work better, that's fine with me too. I thought the fronts might be easier. But being a newbie at this, I'm open to whatever!

Hey there! I saw this post and it caught my eye since I'm a Carolina gal myself. I live in the big ol' town (wink, wink) of Clinton. I just found SCS recently and am addicted! I have been scrapbooking for close to 8 years and am just starting to get into stamping.

Hey Erika! Thanks for the welcome. I can't wait to 'meet' everyone that's in the carolinas. I hope I'm able to attend the next get together- whenever it may be. I'm sure I could learn alot from everyone. I'm pg with #3 and due in March, so hopefully that won't interfere with a meet up! lol!

oh, congratulations on your pregnancy!! That's wonderful!! We don't have a date set up yet, I don't think...but we will be meeting in Columbia this time around. We also get together about once a month in a smaller group with the Charleston women, if you're interested in that talk to Big Lucy or Ronee.

Hi, ladies. Our Christmas get-together is Wed. the 18th at 7:00 at my house. Most everyone has been to my house so if any of the newbies need a ride or directions someone can help. What did we decide to have for food and what was decided about gifts. I'm going out of town Mon. and will be back Wed. morning. Keri was not at our last meeting in Nov. so can someone let her know what was decided? I left the meeting early and missed the final decisions. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Big lucy
We all know I love a party!!! So I am up for gifts! Let me know what we want to do..since we are on such a short time frame. As for directions Erika..you best to ask Keri Lee. She is the one that told me how to get to Big Lucy's the first time..OR maybe you can follow me. I will have to see what is going on in my house. RYAN has a HUGE test on the 20th..so I don't know what his study schedule will be like. Anyway..let me know about the gifts...I would love for us to do sorta like a Secret Santa!! TOO MUCH FUN...OH and The Pink House is hosting BUNCO on the 20th. It is LADIES NIGHT. It is going to be a blast..if you can find the seconds to run away from the Christmas shopping...you should stop in!

Oh this stinks! y'all are already having a get together and I can't make it- that's the story of my life! lol! My sunday school class is going out to dinner that night. Of course, I don't even know where the get together is so I may have not been able to come anyway! lol! I'll just sit back and work on this ever growing belly of mine! 11 weeks to go before baby #3 makes his appearance!!!!!

I think what was decided at the Pink House was to bring an appetizer/ finger type food to pass, and a "White Elephant" type gift for a Chinese Exchange.

Girls I believe it is actually WEDNESDAY the 19th~! Claudia had posted WEDNESDAY the 18th but I believe it is the date that she got wrong not the day. Claudia, Gail, someone? Isn't it on the 19th??
All I have written down is wednesday..no date! i forgot about the gifts..so good thing you mentioned! i hope i can make it..ryan doesn't get home till around seven..so I probably will be running behind! I can't wait to see you guys!
