I think I would be okay sharing a room with anybody. Even the snorers.
Gayle, I'm not 100% sure how much time I am going to be able to be there. I know I will not be there on Sunday as I have a bridal shower to attend at 11 am. My friend and I are hosting it (she picked the date and time) and I have to be there. So no food for me on Sunday for sure.

Not picky about whom I share with and I also tend to not hear things when I am asleep. Except when my hand is licked. I was dogsitting for the last 12 days and she just went home and I miss her (not not her allergy inducing fur that got everywhere). So, Gayle, if you promise to not lick my hand, I'll share with you... lol
Wow Diane, that's a pretty serious prerequisite request to be able to sleep with you!
Actually I am the one who is used to getting licked...I keep telling my wee black hairy guy (no, not my dh!) that I am not an ice cream cone!
A month today we will all be sitting in the sun room with our coffees attacking the day! I am so looking forward to this.
There are some lovely walking paths so I am tucking my sneakers in! Mind you it's not like a break to Rose's in Didsbury or the place in Innisfail but the serenity and the beauty should make up for it! Wait a minute...scrapbook shopping vs nature...hhhmm....ok just this once nature can win but it's scrapbook shopping next time!
Yup it's a Friday night arrival Robin, any time after 4 pm - I hope to be there earlier than 4 pm if they let me so I can set up etc., and just generally nosy around!
Starting to make my lists...many lists, love lists...make me feel like the time is almost here!
Hi all. Gayle, please don't count me in for the food count. Right now, it is not looking real good that I'm even going to be able to make it. I will still pay whatever my room cost would be. I'm trying to get there for Friday night and part of Saturday. We'll see.

Hey Birthday girl I have snowflake punches I can bring and some snow flake dies - I am bringing my big shot so we can "punch" away.
Sorry to hear your time may be cut short Deb - we will just enjoy whatever time you have with us!

Got lots done yesterday for our upcoming trip next week -- need to set up the banquets today -- and so then hopefully I can come for one night anyway. Is there internet access Gayle? I'm not going to bring my quilting -- not sure what I'll work on, maybe just a couple of cards. Need to travel light.

Thanks for the fun weekend. It was great to see those who could make it again, and it was great to meet Rose and Gitta. Sorry I had to leave early (up at 5:30 am). Yah Brian! Like that man already!! That was such a fun weekend, I enjoyed it so much...all the chit chat and laughs (ok alot at my expense...dont think I will share as much next time!) the creating and cutting but mostly the people...I feel lucky to have such great lady friends to share my craft with! I enjoyed putting everything together for everyone, thanks for everyone's help to make it all work!

Hi Tamara. Nice to see you! We talked about getting together again this fall(ish). The plan was that we would come to Lacombe. I can host the retreat, but we would have to figure out sleeping arrangements. I possibly will have 2 beds in my house, possibly use the motorhome for another 2 beds. Some had blow-up air beds that can be set up. There is also a hotel just 5 minutes from my house.

What does your September look like for possible dates? We are doing some family planning and was curious if there were any actual dates you were looking at...I sure dont mind sleeping at the hotel...it's kind enough that you offer your home, you dont have to sleep all of us too!
Good morning. The weekends of Sept 8 and 22 work well for me. What works for all of you?

September 8th weekend is marvelous wonderful great!!!
Now to start planning to do what I didnt get done in June....and hear me now...this is my pledge, not to bring the whole dang world with me this time!!!
But now that I have gone back to Scrapbooker's Paradise in Crowfoot part time during the week at night....it's hard to have this sense of self control when I see all these great things!!!

Nope, Deb's home. Went to Minnesota, South Dakota, Nebraska and Iowa -- all in 5 days. Golfed in our Ladies Open yesterday (first real tournament in a very long time -- since before my knee business) and WON my flight. Surprised myself, I must say. It was a good day.
The 8th is good for me too. You guys let me know and I'll have it all ready.
If Dana finds a place to buy before then -- I'll have 2 bedrooms in the house and a bedroom and a hide-a-bed in the motorhome -- and lots of room for airbeds. There is LOTS of room out there, so don't be shy.
Why don't we just say the 8th for now. How many takers?

It doesn't matter Gayle. I'm having over 100 for our bbq. If we end up being a small group, we'll be in my house -- if we're a larger group, we'll be in the quonset. Numbers don't matter. The more the merrier!
