Well...I'm a GA SCS for the rest of the month, then I'm moving to FL..depends on when & where....but sure...some of us got together in Warner Robbins a couple of months ago and it was great!
Depending on when and where I might even be interested. I'm in Florida, but hey, Tallahassee is really more like South Georgia! If I would be invited to come, that is . . . ;)
Hello there. I am a misplaced Georgia Girl (Go Dawgs!) as my husband is in the Navy. I am frequently in GA and would love to get together. I'll be visiting my sister July 19-26 who lives in Woodstock. Prehaps even a small one with Donna and Maria since they will be close by.

I'm in Dallas just right down the road from Woodstock and Cartersville.

I'm totally interested in going, but would love it if we could plan it for somewhere in central Georgia. I'm in Thomasville, about as far south as you can get without being in Florida! :-) Any thoughts on a central location?

I live in Ringgold Georgia, which is just over the Tennessee line near Chattanooga. I think I'm a ways from all of you, however. If this is going to be in the Atlanta area, that is a little far for me. Let me know, I would like to consider it.
Thanks.

Everytime I go to work I end up at a party!

Also Convention bound, second session Purple
COME ON DOWN! Jump on I-75 and go for it. It's really not that far. Especially if we met in Woodstock at the lake.

I think that would be AWESOME!!!! I am new to stamping and would love to meet other stampers!!!
I'm in Centerville right outside of Warner Robins and Macon right smack in the middle of the state!!!!! I would be more than willing to travel to the Atlanta area (love hotels!!!)
Wow, this is exciting, I would love to meet with you ladies, maybe since we have several people in the southern part of the state, we could have two groups meet, one in Woodstock, and one maybe in the Albany area if anyone wanted to organize that one. Ringgold is not too far awary from Woodstock, I have some sorority sisters that live there, we are only a bit over an hour south of Chattanooga in Woodstock, right off I-75 south. I would be happy to reserve the clubhouse for the Woodstock, GA meeting, I know someone said the latter part of the week of July 17th would work for them, is weekdays or weekends better for everyone? How many people will your clubhouse hold? Also, next month probably wouldn't be great, especially the weekend before the 17th...that's right before the first session of convention for some (me, me, me!!!).
What about sometime in August, give Allison a little time to plan some things and in enough advance for all of us?
I'm in Rocky Face, so maybe those of us along I-75 (Ringgold - Nicki, Dalton/Rocky Face, Calhoun, etc.) could carpool to Woodstock or Atlanta area. Week days or weekends fine with me.
Would have to be weekends for me. Just a Saturday or an Saturday/Sunday combo. Wouldn't even mind a Friday night/Saturday combo. Whatever is fine as long as it is not Oct. Ist. LOL

I tried to post my interest in this yesterday, but I think the post went to Cyber Land.
Anyway - I'm interested in being a part of this!! Keep me informed. I definitely can't do it the weekend of the 17th - I have a wedding in Athens that I must attend. I'm West of Atlanta in Douglasville. My church is in Lithia Springs (near Six Flags), and I would bet that I can use part of their facilities for the event - if we still need a place.
I'm excited at the prospect of all of us meeting!!!!
The clubhouse here in Woodstock would hold up to 150 people, that is the number of seats available around tables. So, shouldn't be any problems containing the group we are gathering so far. Weekends are best for me, or a Friday night & Sat. or Sat/Sun. combo. Our clubhouse is used the last Friday of each month for a neighborhood Texas Hold'em Poker Night, but most other Fridays are free. I will need to get a date confirmed so that I can reserve it, as sometimes it is rented out for wedding receptions and parties. How many people could make Fri July 22-Sat 23, or Sun 24th? If not then, maybe the Aug 5, 6 and 7th weekend?

I am in Dayton, TN (just north of Chattanooga), and I would love to come too (if I can come on the date you guys decide) if we Tennesseans are invited!

Tennesseans & Floridians are MORE than welcome to join us. If you're willing to travel, we're willing to have you!
Why don't we look at the middle/end of August. This way everyone is back from convention/vacation and all kiddies are back in to the swing of school.
I think a Saturday/Sunday event would be perfect. This way no one has to rush from work on a Friday to get to the event.
We'll definately have a shoebox swap. Maybe a technique class or two. Let me know what techniques you might be interested in trying out. Anything else? I've never organized something like this.. so bear with me.
I really am SO excited. I wasn't expecting this kind of turnout. I can't wait to meet all of you!

Reason: wanted to funk it up a little with color!
Didn't know there were so many folks from GA on here! I'm from there, but moved to VA in '99. My in laws live 5 miles from the Mall of GA in Lawrencville. I'm coming down in July for a few days. Depending on when you all have it, I might have to try to swing by. My brother lives in Canton, just north of Woodstock.
Maria, if you don't mind checking the availability of your clubhouse for Saturday & Sunday, August 27th & 28th, that would be GREAT!! This way we can all start marking it on our calendars.
As for the shoebox swap, I want to wait for the new catty to come out before people start picking which set they want to do.
Again, think about techniques you want to learn or teach. Not everyone who is coming is a demo.
Ohhh sounds interesting! Give me details and I will see what I can do! I don't know if I can do two days or not, but I know I can get away with one day.
Keep me posted!
