You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
When: February 11, 2012
Time: 10 AM to ?
Where: Lamplighter Mobile Home Park Clubhouse
5040 Jackson St., North Highlands
There is no fee for this swap.
We will have a potluck. See below for sign-ups. I will provide paper products and drinks.
THEME: Easter and/or Spring Time.
Each person attending will bring at least one sample of a completed card project and kits of the sample to complete. Each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap. ENVELOPES ARE NOT REQUIRED...UNLESS CARD IS OF A SIZE OTHER THAN THE REGULAR SIZE.
The swap is not limited to cards...other paper projects are welcomed.
The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required, however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.
Please bring a basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.
The swap will begin promptly at 10:00 am and conclude when all the cards have been completed.
The cut-off date for sign up will be February 4th. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.
Should there be a need to cancel, please inform Betty with an email no later than February 4th.
Should you wish to bring items to sell, you may do so...whether it may be stamping items or craft items. Just let Betty know if you plan on doing so.

Thanks Karen! Getting you signed up...no problem about what you are bringing...I have no clue myself... I do have my card figured out, saw it in the latest issue of Paper Crafters. Should be easy to put together...
Yay!! You best bring baby with you...or you may have to go all the way home to get him...we want to see him...and there's plenty of grandmothers to hold and cuddle with him!!
Annee and I enjoyed the swap so much in December at Karen's house. We'd love to join you again for this one. We will each do a kit. We'll also sign up for a dessert and appetizer. We'd also like to bring a few things to sell, if that's ok.

Getting you signed up!!
Of course! I haven't told him about all of his "other" grandmothers. He's a lover :p
Ack, sorry I didn't respond sooner. I started a new job last week and its been a little crazy getting adjusted to going to work every day. I will be there with a dessert of some sort =)

Hi Lisa,
So glad you will be able to come...I will get you signed up.
Where did you go to work at? Hope it is working out and you are liking it. It is always a little nerve wracking getting adjusted to a new job and trying to get things taken care of at home.
I started working as an Intermediate Push-in teacher at the local elementary school I have been subbing at for years. Basically, I am there to help with intervention times in four different grades, mainly with reading/reading comprehension etc. Just getting used to working every day and keeping straight what I am doing in each of the four grades I work with (plus, I have 8 different groups just in the second grade class I work with all doing different things on different days- using lots of post-its in that class..lol). Looking forward to seeing everyone next month!
I will be there, I'm just kinda slow in responding. Put me down for some kind of side dish.
I don't know if I'll bring anything to sell. I'm sure I would have lots to sell, but getting it together is another thing! I'll let you know for sure when the date is closer if that's ok.

See you all on the 11th!
Hi Linda,
I'm glad you will join us and I'll put you down for a side dish. No pressure on selling items...I think there's 2 people that said they'd bring something to sell. I just thought since we had all the space to use, we should take advantage of it if anyone wanted to sell items.
I'm sure the last few days haven't been easy for you and your family. My mom has been gone for almost 10 years and it is still hard. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I did send out an email to the other ladies...so they all know.
Hi All! I will be doing an adhesive order before the swap and will be able to bring any adhesive with me if anyone needs any. They are 1.91 each (that is the price plus tax) These are for the tombow permanent refills and these also fit the SU adhesive case as well. If anyone would like to order e-mail me: [email protected] and I can accept paypal.
Hi ladies! seriously considering attending your shindig! I am in Fresno and have driven to Sacramento quite often...where is North Highlands?
Hi Pammers,
I'm sorry...I am just now seeing this post... :(
North Highlands is a suburb of Sacramento. I live in a mobile home park that is located a mile west of I-80. You'd take the Madison Avenue exit and go west. The swap is being held in the clubhouse here at the park.
We'd love to have you join us. Let me know what you decide!!
Yeah Pammers, you should absolutely come and play! This is a super friendly group, I can't say enough nice things about these ladies. And I have to say, I am loving the gorgeous projects we've been doing!
Come join us if you can (even if I'm team jacob i know we'll get along fine ;))
If you are interested in ordering adhesive refills, please let Lisa R know. She is going to be placing an order on the 1st and will bring it to the swap. Below is the link. Also, for those that have not ordered before. These refills will fit in the SU adhesive container...also, at Michaels, these go for about $4/each.

I know...it will be here before we know it...I'm probably going to work on my kits this week. I've got everything already...can't believe I am so ahead of the game when I am usually scrambling to get them done at the last minute...
