When: June 9th
Time: 10 AM to ?
Where: Kate's House in Folsom (address will be sent after RSVP closes)
There is no fee for this swap.
We will have a potluck. See below for sign-ups. I will provide paper products and drinks.
THEME: Summer-Water, Beach, Sand, flowers, etc
Each person attending will bring at least one sample of a completed card project and kits of the sample to complete. Each kit should be in some type of baggie, be pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap. ENVELOPES ARE NOT REQUIRED...UNLESS CARD IS OF A SIZE OTHER THAN THE REGULAR SIZE.
The swap is not limited to cards...other paper projects are welcomed.
The number of kits to be brought will be determined after the close of the sign-up period. Only one card/project is required, however, it is always nice to have a second project, especially if the group is small. It is entirely up to you.
Please bring a basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pops ups or foam tape. It may also include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool or item is needed for card/project, please indicate when signing up or sometime before the swap. You may post a comment on the thread informing the people signed up what the need will be.
The swap will begin promptly at 10:00 am and conclude when all the cards have been completed.
The cut-off date for sign up will be June 1st. It will then be posted how many kits are to be made.
Should there be a need to cancel, please inform Candice with an email no later than June 1st.

<sigh!> I have to miss this one too! :(
The children people are both graduating that week (8th and 12th grades) and we're having a family party on that Saturday. Dang that's two in a row now...
I have however, penciled in the next one which I'm thinking will be August 11? Hard to think that far ahead but it looks clear. If we need someone to host I can do that day.

have fun you guys, I miss you!
Rene-I'll put you down for August Sorry to hear you will miss this one...but Graduation is kinda important lol.
I'm still up in the air......Hubby decided life was to calm and totaled our 2nd vehicle (a complete accident and freak accident at that) so we are down to one vehicle and if he gets one before then I hope to make it! Love the theme and will be bummed if I have to miss it!

Hey everyone, for some reason I didn't get the email for this one =( Life has been so hectic, I completely lost track of the time. Unfortunately I have to miss again (boo 2 in a row). We have two graduation parties to attend that day! August is looking good though, so I hope to see you all there. It feels like its been forever since I've gotten to see you all and stamp!
Hi Everybody...this coming Saturday is the big day...I'm taking the liberty of updating the thread...Candice has been busy moving and she's had a house full of family this past week...so I'm sure she has not had much free time...
Looks like we have 8 ladies signed up...so we will make 1 sample and 7 kits...for our new ladies...a gentle reminder that all kits should be complete with all stamping, cutting, coloring complete; all ribbon cut and embellishments included...we are an assembly group.
We also need an address and general directions to Kate's house...I don't know where it is other than in Folsom. So Kate would you provide that information.
Ladies, don't forget your salad...
We will miss Pauline, Lisa R., Lisa W., Renee T, Candice...Rhonda, Julie and Bonnie too. Haven't seen you for a while now.
Lisa W...I think Renee T. is hosting in August so you won't have far to go...
Hope your kits are coming together...I got my paper yesterday so now need to figure out what I'm going to do with it...See you all on Saturday!!
Karen: yeah, Candice hasn't updated the list. I did see a post where you said you were bringing fruit salad. I think we'll not worry about the updating.
I will message you about the address.
I forgot mentioning Julie and Tyana...haven't seen you both in a while...maybe you can make it to the August swap...it will be closer to you...hopefully.
I texted Candice yesterday. Her company is gone...she mentioned she will be without internet for a couple of days...probably due to the move.
Hey! I found the thread for the swap! Finally! Thanks, Karen, for your help.
I just wanted to let everyone know there will be a huge neighborhood garage sale tomorrow morning. So come early if you want to shop, or shop afterwards if you want. Parking should still be ok because there aren't too many on our street who participate.
Hi Kate,
Glad you were able to find the thread!! Also, thanks for the heads up about the garage sales going on.
One of our new ladies who signed up can't make it so there will be 7 of us. Hopefully she will be able to join us the next time. I haven't heard if anyone else can't make it. So it will be a small group...
So bummed I missed the swap. On a positive note..we are completely moved..now its just unpacking and more unpacking. The rest of the family left yesterday. Adams cub scout graduation went great and thankful it was sunny outside today...chilly and windy, but sunny.
Renee will be hosting our August swap...more details to come in a few weeks.
We missed you too, Candice! It was an awesome swap...cute cards...salads were fantastic. Met Kate's husband and grandson. Sue and Melanie came...they live in Pioneer (amador County) so they had a little bit of a drive. They both are so nice, we loved them. They are looking forward to our next swap. As we were leaving, found out Sue is part Hawaiian...small world...
Don't envy you the unpacking...glad you are all moved though...and that Adam's graduation went well...
Thanks ladies for a great swap. A huge thank you to Kate and Annee for hosting...to Sue and Melanie: it was great to meet you...look forward to seeing you again.
