hi i am new her but i was wondering what is a Shoebox Swap ? what do you have to do . i started stampin up have not had any partys yet i cant find anyone who wants to do one but love the discount trying to start a stampin club but still need 3 more people for that to have a total of six so i can start it

Hi Shirley,
Welcome to Splitcoast. You are going to love it here. A shoebox swap is where everyone brings enough supplies for the group to make their card. This swap is open for 30 people, so you would bring enough cardstock cut for 30 people to make your card, all the inks and stamps used, any punches or embellishments used and have them together in a shoebox. You'd also have a sample card in the box with directions. You put your box on a table, grab another box to make someone else's card, make it, and then grab another box. When you leave, you'll have made 29 cards or however many you get finished in a certain time period. Hope this makes sense.
Hope you can join us. They are a lot of fun, and you get some really great ideas. Your wish list definitely gets longer after participating in one of these too.
Mom is definitely making lasagna, so if someone would like to bring Italian bread and butter and someone else a tossed salad and dressings, that would be great.
There are still a few spots open too if others care to join us.

Here are directions to the church - church address is 10911 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117 - in case you want to mapquest it from your home address.
Take 695 to 795. Merge onto 795 and you'll be on this for a little bit. Take Exit 4 for Owings Mills Boulevard off of 795. The exit splits, so stay to the right. Proceed to the second light and bear right. Stay in the middle lane and turn left at the traffic light at Route 140, Reisterstown Road. Go through three traffic lights. You will see the church on your right after the third light. Make your next right onto E. Pleasant Hill Road and then right into the parking lot. You will enter the church at the far end of the parking lot through the gate.

Maybe something else for breakfast?? We have a coffee cake coming already, so maybe some sort of bread or muffins or munchkins. Or even fruit salad. Let me know what works best for you.
I am really sorry but I am not going to be able to make it. I just found out that a friend is coming that weekend and already booked her tickets. I am really bummed that I am going to miss it. HOPEFULLY, I will be able to make it in the spring.

There are 23 people signed up, so you'll need to prepare your swap for 22 people to make your card. You might want to bring a few extras just in case someone makes a mistake.

There are a few of you that have not signed up for food yet. Can one of you please sign up to bring a 1/2 gallon of orange juice and 1/2 gallon of either white milk or chocolate milk for breakfast please?
I think we are good on other drinks for lunch. Maybe one more dessert? Brownies are already coming, so how about cookies or a cake or something else?
