I have a suggestion where we could meet. We could GTG in a neighborhood that has a clubhouse. Just a suggestion. I live in the Spring area.

Houstan isn't that far from where I am, only about an hour and a 1/2.
I should be able to make it. Have to see if I can get that day off once it's planned. I could probably even drive back home that night if I don't get distracted and stay really really late......lol

I'm working on getting a place for us to meet if anyone else hasn't done that. I'm checking to see if our hall at my church can be used. We have tables and a kitchen so it would be a great place. I was supposed to hear tonight, but haven't yet. I'll let y'all know when I hear something.

After being too late to sign up for Arlington, I want to come play in Houston. (And Austin too!) Would love to meet some of the DFW area ladies before hand so I'd know someone when I get there.

This event does not seem to be going anywhere. I just wanted to say that I was trying to get the use of my church building for the get together, but that's not going to fly. If anyone wants to take the ball and run with it for this event that would be great. Not something I can do while working full time. I will be glad TO HELP do what I can, but not to oversee the whole thing. I did get a pm from someone yesterday saying that they wanted to do an event in Austin and wanted to know when ours was going to be. We HAVE NO DATE OR ANYTHING SET. I, for one, wouldn't mind going to Austin, but would rather do it here in Houston if someone can find a place, maybe a hotel or library big enough for 50 people. Any takers???????????????? :confused:
