Gretchen, the last I knew there were still 2 openings for a shoebox swap on Saturday, Feb. 24th!!! It's to be in Sharon Center, in Medina County. Send a PM to Cindy (ckarasz) if you're interested!
Gretchen that sounds GREAT, I would love to meet & stamp, chat, do lunch!?!?!?!? Janice
Gretchen and Janice,
Gosh Pat in Ohio and I met last Saturday at Archiver's in Fairlawn. We're thinking about signing up for Scrapmania some time in March - I chose March 24, but that can always be changed. Would y'all be interested?

I would love to, but that is my son's 2nd birthday party at the Little Gym. Next time...
Hello NE Ohioians! I'm in South Euclid now (Cleveland Eastern Suburb) and work on Cleveland's Near West side. I lived in Hilliard (Columbus West Suburb) for about 10 years (GO DAVIDSON STATE CHAMPS!) and my son is still in college there at CCAD. I still visit him and my stamping & scrapbook buddies fairly often. I also grew up in Toledo... So I've got the whole top half of the state covered!
Please keep me in mind for future NEO events. I'll be out of town on 3/24, but would love an opportunity to get together with folks another time. I still know very few people outside of work and "husband's friend's wives"... Looking for people who don't think it's odd to play with paper and ink all day!
We can switch the Scrapmania to March 31st if Erin and Connie could attend. This would be at Archiver's in Fairlawn. However, I think most of the gals scrapbook at these functions. The cost is $15 per person, which is well worth it. Dinner is included. It's from 5-11 p.m. Reservations need to be made and the cost is payable at the time you make the reservation. Let me know if either of you may be interested.

Hi Connie,
Welcome to the Cleveland area. You're right - now you have the whole northern part of the state covered. I'm in the Old Brooklyn area - real close to Parma and work downtown in the Galleria. Would it be possible for east and west to meet? LOL I'm sure you know that big hype over the east versus the west side, right? They say, never shall the two meet, but I've crossed that boundary many, many times. :-)

Thanks for the invite, I'm preparing for a shoebox swap, may be another time? I need to check out a map & see where Fairlawn? is located.
I'm in Dublin (a suburb of Columbus) and just moved six months ago from North Canton, Ohio...just south of Akron! I've been to Archivers in Fairlawn MANY times, and Hollo's! Wanting to make a trip up to Hollo's soon...
I am from Marysville (NW of Columbus). Previously I lived in Canton and was raised in Waynesburg. You all are making me miss home! I don't know too many stampers here and finding a good customer base is difficult, but would like to have a group to stamp with. I was thinking of trying to have a Shoebox Swap here to draw some people in. Anyone interested?

Hi Kathy! I live in Maineville.... also down the street from Kings Island. We can see the fireworks from our house every summer night at 10pm. Where exactly did you just move to? I'm in Regency Park subdivision off of St.Rt. 48. Maybe we can meet at Archivers to do some stampin' soon. Sounds like clsmith is close too. Hey clsmith... I go to church in Milford... sorta. (we don't go as often as we should.) We go to Eastside Christian. Let's all get together!

I was just at Archiver's yesterday to make copies for a project and it was during one of their all day scraps. I couldn't figure out why it was sooooo busy in there and then I figured it out. It looks like such fun! Plus, what an advantage to have the copier there and all the supplies you need at your fingertips if you just need to find that extra something to finish a page or card. I would definitely like to attend one! I think the one in May is the same Friday I have to be in Toledo for a wedding rehearsal though - bummer!
Hi! Another Ohioan here. I am in the Dayton area. I am a novice and I really don't have a lot of people to stamp with. I am guessing once my kids are a bit older it will be easier.

Hi - Just another Ohioan checking in! I am originally from Broadview Heights, now I live in Oberlin (40 miles southwest of Cleveland). Anyone else out there in Lorain County?
I'm in Powell Ohio, which is North of Columbus up by the zoo. We are down by you every Wednesday night for soccer training. And yes you need to go to Archivers in Mason. We have one in Easton shopping area and thank goodness it is too far for me to just run too. But when I do get there, I make it worth my while.
Hello fellow Ohioan's, I just wanted to let you know that there is a new post up for the next Northeast Ohio Shoebox Swap, Space limited so climb aboard now for some extra Fun with with your Ohio friends here on SCS. Just click on the link below my name. Hope to see you there
Hi all! My first post- I live in Zanesville! Just a hop and a skip from Newark! vjdeed- have you been to the Scrapper's gallery? Very nice, it's mostly scrapbooking things but its right by the mall and in town for you! I've been taking my kids there for the mommy and me scrappy things. I'd love to meet people from around here! This is the best thread I've seen at the whole site! I had no idea there were so many stampers withina 1 hour radius! I'm so jazzed! Oooo! I want a new stampy buddy! lol! I'd love to meet with someone to play! Faereygirl - do you go to the Viking festival? Has it already passed this year? I soooo want to go- I've heard it's just loads of fun, but I can never find anyone who actually knows when it is. Nice to meet everyone!
Just viewing your post. I live in Bellevue, 20 minutes from Cedar Point area. Feel free to contact me any time.
Hi Carol,
Since you don't live far from Cedar Point, do you know of an Archiver's or a similar place near Sandusky where I could veg out all day? My husband has a season's pass to Cedar Point and when he goes, I'm always looking for something to do in your area especially now that the gas prices have skyrocketed.
I used to go to Kings Island every summer with my family. I remember when the Smurf ride was there, so much better than the Phantom thing but I haven't been there since the really bad halloween thing back in 2000

So sorry I didnt answer earlier. This thread hasnt rang for me until tonight.
Yes, I have been to Scrappers place. I only stop in there for metalic paper I cant find anywhere else locally. They are unnecessarily too pricey, but it sure is interesting to look. The new Hobbly Lobby in Zanesville is very nice. It is much more clean/organized than the one in Heath. This SCS is a GREAT site, isnt it? Welcome - it's nice to meet you.
PM me sometime if you want to scrap. I have alot of family, and my husband was originally from Zville. Are you an original or transplant?

I'm in Monroe, just south of Dayton.
