I am in Bristol. I used to think CT was small till I had to drive from Stafford Springs to Norwalk one day... Not so small then! lol

Norwalk is down close to New York on 95 it is Norwalk, Darien, Stamford, Greenwich and then the NY line. We're about 2 hours from Lisbon.

one option and I dont think they charge that much and it is a lovely area by the sea, is the Mercy Center in MAdison.

This would open it up to people from Rhode Island too, cuz Madison is an hour away from Providence.
New Haven they have the following:
There is a courtyard marriot., The other hotels that could accomodate a crowd are the omni hotel

I'm in Terryville, was in Bristol, spend a lot of time in Canton and have a friend in East Hartford - we both love to scrapbook and stamp! We could always use a break from cleaning......
