I was hoping there might be some stampers/scrappers in this area that might want to get together on a monthly basis or something????? I would really love to do this and would be willing to host the first one!
I'm south of Kansas City-Gardner. Have stamps will travel. Though if we're taking turns to host, I'd have to reserve our library room as I don't have room in my house for a large group. I have another friend in Olathe that might possibly be interested too.
Hello, nice to see others close by!! I am very interested in getting together! I seem to get more done when I am with a group of people. LOL!
On a side note, I was at the CK Convention this past weekend and there was a lady there talking about this retreat for scrappers. It is a bed and breakfast that is catered to scrappers (and other crafters) that will open in Jan. 08. It will have it's own cropping room with tables, die cut machines, etc. as well as a small scrapbooking store. And you get all your meals, snacks and drinks whilte there. I thought that sounded very neat for a weekend getaway. Their website is: kansaskeepsakes.com

I live in Excelsior Springs and would like to get together with others in the area from time to time. Most of the crafters I know live south of the river. Also, I have plenty of room for get togethers.
