Sarah, how close are you to Nashua?
Holly, Teresa and myself seem to be close enough to give it a try. The more the merrier if we work out the available space.
Ok, we seem to be getting alot of interest, lets get down to setting a time and place - I can handle around 6 people in my dining area, any thing more than that we would need another place.. lets see if we can come up with a mutual date for the end of February or before the end of March...I can make a point of being available almost any time that is good for anyone..(no kids schedules to worry about, and a great husband that goes along with anything) I don't know if there is a way to send emails to multiple people from SCS but I have sent my personal email / phone number to a couple people. I am willing to travel if I get GOOD directions LETS MAKE PLANS
I think we should set one up for the end of March timeframe. We did the shoebox swap in Mass today and it was fun. I am 30 minutes from Nashua. Let's get a good headcount of who might like to do it.
Do you all want to do a swap kind of thing or just get together and stamp/scrap all our own stuff?

I was at the Shoebox Swap in Northborough today also. It was a great time. I would love to get together with everybody. I'm completely open for the next few weeks. If we want I can see about reserving a room in the Westford Library.
I am ok with what every one decides. Would there be a fee for the Library? Because that would solve the space issue... I am not sure what the Nashua library policy is, but I can check that also...I have never done a Shoebox Swap but am open to anything anyone wants to do. I will check with the Nashua Library this week and post the info I will try for 3/24 or 3/31
Teresa if you want to check with Westford Library that would be fine also..
From this thread it looks like about 8 people have interest...Glad to see this hasn't fizzled out...Hope to meet you all in person soon...
I just received a response from the Nashua Library, They have the media room availible for 3/24 or 3/31 It holds aprox 16 people. If we could get a quick response regarding a head count of those who would be interested and the best date, I can go ahead and reserve the space. Please give me feedback as soon as posible...
I'm not going to be able to make any get-togethers for awhile...I've packed my stuff up since we're trying to sell our home :( Hope you all have fun though!

That will give us plenty of time to round up supplies if we decide to do a shoe-box swap. We can always just bring our own projects and swap a few finished cards or ATCs.
Jumping in. I am in Northern MA, I have a few friends in Nashua and Pepperell. We may be interested in joining you on the 31st if that would be okay. I will subscribe to the thread. I could not attend the shoebox swap, I am glad to hear it was fun.
:p I will reserve the room for the 31st , I have never done something like this so I am not sure if doing a particular project or just taking a few hours to scrap what we please works best..So we can decide that after we settle on the time or we can do both...
also, does 4 hours sound like a good time frame say 1-5 or 12-4??? any opinions:
I will start a list to reserve a spot...
1. Sue Sylvia Votes for shoe box swap
2.Lindsi -(Lindsidawn)
3.Kay - (KVMNH) votes for shoe box swap
4.Sarah_ (Criminalgrace)
5.Andi- (Tiggerificandi) votes for shoe box swap
6.Caitlin -(Caitlinstamps)
7. Kim - (Starsia70)
8.Teresa Hall - (thall)

I'm in.... You may want to reserve the room a little longer. We had 5 people w/7 projects and we spent about 3 1/2 hrs at the shoebox swap we just did... better to over book the time we'd be there so no one else reserves the room than to under book and be pushed out w/o finishing. But I guess it also depends what people want to do. I don't have a preferance so I'll let everyone else decide.

I reserved your spot --
I have never done this before so any advise is greatfully accepted, I will try and get it for 12-6 and see how that goes... can you explain the ShoeBox swap to us?
It just dawned on me, this is A NH thing! The Nashua Library would be more appropriate!
Teresa You seem to have been involved in this before, so please step right up and let me know if there is anything I am not thinking about this will be my first gathering or stamping activity I have gotten involved in..

At a shoebox swap each person designes a card (or other project), cuts all the paper and brings all the supplies to make that card in a shoebox. Then at the swap everyone makes one of each project. I've only done one, last weekend, but it was a lot of fun!
The Nashua Library Media Room has been reserved for us on 3/31/07 from
12 noon till 5:PM (closing time) there is only room for 15 spaces according to the Co-coordinator so reserve your spot asap.
Please be aware that the Library rules state:
1. We can not use the facility to make sales So if you are a Product demonstrator you will not be able to do any selling on the property.
2. No food or beverages are allowed, so I suggest you grab lunch before you arrive.(although I did see a coffee corner upstairs??)
So now, we just have to decide if we want to just scrap or do a shoe-box swap..as explained by Lindsi. I was really nervous at organizing this at first, now I can not wait ... So lets get your spots reserved and your vote as to what you want it to be and have a ball...
Can't wait to meet everyone...
