Welcome to the area, Wendy! I live in Murfreesboro now but lived in Franklin for 14 years. My family lives there and I still work there too! Pat (patintn) voluteered the use of her office on March 30 but I'm not sure where it is yet. We don't have any definite plans for that day... I think we're trying to see how many can come. I'm glad you're interested in joining us ad look forward to meeting you! Kim
Hi Everyone - I see that we are adding new people - that is great. Yes, I'm still planning to host a get together in my office in Franklin on Sun March 30, 2-4 (although we may be stamping later than that). My office is located at 130 4th AVenue South, across from the new Courthouse and the parking garage. Hopefully that will be convenient. We were thinking that each of us would host a fairly simple Make&Take. I'm planning a big scallop tag in VV and using the Embrace Life set. Everyone needs to bring their own scissors/adhesive. Thought this would just be a good time to get to know each other, and maybe some of you can help me work on a blog ;) Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Thanks for the additional info, Pat, and the use of your space! I know just where to go! I'll be there and will plan a 3-D box of some sort for my project. Not sure which colors or stamps I'll use yet though... This will be a great time to chat and get to know some other stampers! I can't wait! Kim
I am a novice stamper and live in Nashville. I usually don't take or make the time to stamp even though my intentions are good. I would love to be able to get together with others who enjoy stamping as well as meet new people,
learn new techniques & just have some fun with it. It's a shame to have stampin up sets and accessories and not be using them. Thank you.
Hi everyone - so far only Kangel and I can make next Sunday's get together. Please let me know by Tuesday, March 25 if you can attend. If that doesn't work, give me some weekend dates in April. Happy Easter! pat
Thanks for letting us know, Pat! I'm not sure what Sundays I'll have available in April yet but should know soon. I know I'm not available on the 20th and then there will be one other unavailable date (baby shower date yet to be determined). Hopefully we can work something out! Kim
Did anyone ever get together? I'm in Brentwood, am a SU demonstrator and have a friend in Antioch that is an SU demonstrator. Would love to hook up with some of you gals for some stamping!!!
Hi Seester - we did not get the group together in April (or May for that matter:-) We can meet in my office in Franklin - maybe we just need to set a date and if anyone can come - Great! I had initially planned for a Sunday afternoon, but let me know if another day/time would be better for you. I live inThompsons Station (just moved from Franklin). Would love to get together with some other demos to talk shop. pat
Hey ya'll! I'm in Franklin as well. Not a demo, just a very loyal customer and would love to get together sometime. Saturdays are better for me, as Sunday is my DH's day off work and we try to spend the day together.
I would love to get together with ya'll. I should be moved up there around the middle of July.
We are happy that you are moving to middle TN. Note sure whose weather is worse in mid-July - Montgomery or Nashville Still haven't gotten together, but we are gathering names. Hopefully sometime soon. pat
HI, I just moved here to mid TN, near Shelbyville. I am more of a card maker than a scrapbooker, altho I do some of that too.. mostly for gifts. Hubby just finished making me a 12 x 30 craft room and I have room for a get together if you would like to meet to do some stamping. I have TONS of stamps, and the cuddlebug, sizzix and Cricut. Would love to meet to get inspired and meet new people in the area and learn new techniques.
Hope to hear from you Tennessee ladies!!
Michele
Thanks for posting Michele - you are in the middle of TN Walking Horse country. Hope you are enjoying the area so far, especially today's weather! What a generous offer to host a get-together. I think one of us just needs to set a date and see who shows up. Looks like Saturday would be a better day than Sunday. What do you think?
I am just out of Murfreesboro. This is cool to find a group of fellow stampers. I am also a SU demo, but it just fuels my hobby. Glad to meet you guys!
Hey all! i just joined this fabulous website. I'm new to stamping, but not to scrapbooking! WAHM of one.
Just thought I'd pop into this thread and say "hi." Oh and we're in Spring Hill, which is just south of Franklin (although we are in Franklin frequently - hubby works there and most of my friends live there!)
There is a link in my signature line for an SCS shoebox swap/get together in October. We would love to have you all join us. I attended the one WoodstockStamper hosted in April. I have hosted my own as well. Please check it out!!
3 Posts today - how exciting! Missy you and I are neighbors in Spring Hill. Robin - Thanks for posting the SCS get together - I went to school in Memphis. Teach0123 - where is Bradyville?
Hi girlies! I'm just now stumbling across yall...I'm in McMinnville...smack in the middle of Chattanooga and Nashville...I know where Bradyville is ;-)...My Mom and I went to the Clarksville shoebox swap I think it was in Feb or March...it was a long 2 hour drive for us - but it sure was fun...we'd be up to another day of fun - closer to home...Murfreesboro would be GREAT!!!
I'm subscribing!!!
Nighty night!
Are any of the Middle TN ladies going to convention? I unfortunately am not.
Should we do a poll and see how many prefer Saturday's and how many prefer Sunday's?
I have a friend who lives in Bradyville. She has lots of family in Woodbury
I am in Bradyville as well. There are a few ladies that are going to start meeting over at the Bradyville COC on the Second Tuesdays of every month. Just a time to get all the supplies out and scrap or make cards, etc. Times are from 5-9. Bring a small snack. Great fun for all! Sunshine
