Oh yes, and my door prize is totally something stamped/modpodged....this is a first for me, I hope it doesn't suck!
I am totally looking forward to your card and your stamped/modpodged gift. I love your work!
Last time I won Texas Jody's fab door prize.... a treasure box FILLED with stampin' accessories like minibrads and funky brads and colored brads and d-rings and o-rings. I was in heaven! I *still* have over half of them!!
So who wants to win MY prize? The now 1/3-full box of generic honey nut cheerios? I know, I mean, it's a pretty FAB prize and all, but you'll have to GET IN LINE!

maybe we can buy a 6X large shirt.. so we have enough room to move.. and we could stick our heads through the sleeves.. and say we are siamese twins?? then you could just sit/share a seat with me..
making 45 cards like that could be a challenge.. but hey!! it will make for great laughs!!!

Okay, I finished my card. I'm using Natural Beauty, Crosshatch and Sincere Salutations. I hope it's up to par!!
I used pastels on it. You ladies who went to Arlington, do you think that will work okay or are the pastels too bulky? I only used 3 colors so maybe I could take them out of my big box and use the little plastic boxes I got with the new colors. I could always just use sponge daubers and stamp pads but I love the pastels.

I can't wait to make it, I am crackin up though because I sold the pastels that came in my kit because I never use them! I like what people do with them though....Can't wait to use them on your card!

Someone had pastels on their card at Arlington...the small cases might be a fab idea though, space is always an issue.

Well, I WAS interested when it was a 1/2 box. But now that it's only a 1/3 box, I think I will have to pass.

Okay good. I think I'll use the little boxes then. You'll be proud of me - I even used Bravo Burgundy!
Hey - and I can't wait to make yours either. Although it may get me in trouble. I just ordered Petal Prints because of you. This was after I told myself not to buy anymore stamp sets out of this year's catalog!

Seriously, my card uses Petal Pushers and Print Pattern and Little Pieces. Hope ya don't hate it, but if ya do, get over it ;) LOL!
Ok you are starting to freak me out here.....I used Petal Pushers on my card too. Although now I am second guessing my creation because there is no way mine would be as cute as yours!!

well, if I haven't already convinced you to get roses in winter then you're safe!
Don't forget that you need to rate your card design for us. When rating your card design, keep in mind that the rating is not just for difficulty, but also for length of time.
For example: Rebecca's card isn't all that difficult because there aren't any hard techniques used. However, her card has many steps. Her card, although low in difficulty, is quite time consuming and would probably be rated as a 4. By knowing her card's rating, we will make sure to put it at a table with probably two level 1 cards and a level 2 card. This will enable us to avoid a traffic jam at the tables. On the other hand, my card has a little bit of coloring involved and a little bit of assembly required. I would probably rank mine as a 2.
If you have any questions or want some input about what your card should be rated as, please feel free to p.m. me. Please do not let the rating thing deter you from doing a "fancy" card. I really enjoyed doing some of the "fancy" cards at the last event. I really liked the variety of levels available. The rating is solely being used to help us with time issues.
Is it okay to use a SAB set on our card? I know that we needed something current and I think that the SAB are still considered current. Anyway, I CASE everything and am excited I came up with something all on my very own, then realized that I might should check on the SAB set.

Did anyone answer you? Since we're making full cards I wouldn't mind if you used an SAB set since I'm planning on passing it off as my own anyway!

I haven't seen much talk about people who are staying the hotel. How many of you are staying in the recommended hotel?
Kid305, cpw3431 and I are staying there. Anyone else?
I am staying there, too. Actually, dh is going to be living there starting this Saturday. We sold our house and are officially homeless on Saturday, so we are staying there until we find another house. We've been looking for over two months, but can't find anything. ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!!

Your in luck!! It just so happens that there is a very adorable house right next to me that is for sale!! We could be neighbors! I'm sure husband wouldn't mind the commute from San Antonio to Austin every day. :p

I would LOVE to live in San Antonio, even though I really like Austin. However, I don't think dh would agree to that commute!
