Count me in! My shoebox made it to the N. Texas gathering but I didn't. My Mom was sick, but is all well now. Yea, I will get to meet everyone afterall!
I am so excited! First of to see so many of you again, Second to see some of you for the first time, and Third to just enjoy it and not have to plan anything but my swap and my doorprize!!!

I am hearing a lot of people want more time to socialize and I don't blame you. We don't have to be out of the facility at any given time so we can go on as long as we like.
Do we want to add another hour so it ends at 10:00 to give more time for socializing?
Also, on the registration form it asks if you want to get together for dinner the night before so I hope we can make that work too.

i'll have to check on hotels, airfare, etc. but i can't go to any of the regionals or convention, so i'll have to chat it over with dh.
I'll probably leave early Sat. morning and drive up from Houston. I have a kitty that needs to be taken care of with meds and canned food 2x a day, so won't be able to come up the night before or stay over, but I'm really looking forward to being there.

I'm up for dinner the night before. As of right now DH doesn't work on Fridays so I can leave at whatever time. If anybody wants to ride with me from Plano let me know. I can fit at least 3-4 comfortably with bags and stuff.

:mrgreen: oh i am SOOOOO jealous of all of you able to attend - i have to miss.. am training for MS150 from houston to austin and am afraid to miss any training time that close to the "race"!! have a blast and can't wait to hear abt all the cool things you all do!!
Maybe we should see if the Oasis can take us for Friday night....that would be cool and its near Steiner Ranch!

OMG!!!! That would be so COOL. We would gladly pick you up from the airport. I think you would definitely be the person who traveled the farthest distance.

That's a great idea! Maybe a little more leisurely pace would be nice. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind stamping like a mad woman... LOL BUT, I would LOVE to talk more than we got to last time.

The cool thing about making less cards than last time is that we won't have as much of a time crunch. We can chat more and take breaks. Be sure to read the Card Guidelines attachment. There is a rating system explained in it so that we don't get stuck with all the hard cards at one table.
