[QUOTE=harrahx2;15193698]Okay Connie Stamper, you can do my card directions! Kathy won't but now that you are done and board, you really should! It would be a challenge.
You can bet it would be interesting card directions to follow, given I've never seen the card!
Woo Hoo! Card is designed and made, papers cut, supplies all together, ham ready to cook tomorrow night- I'm ready! Oh, and Jane- I wrote out my directions, too! ~
Did you get mine done too? You said if you had time, you would picture my card and write the directions from instinct, right? So when folks see my card and your directions, they will be able to figure out what to do.
Actually, I "attempted" to write something logical so I hope people are a bit intuitive..............

I rarely use the directions- most cards are pretty 'self-explanatory', so don't stress over it! I'm sure they'll be fine...of course, if you hear me mumbling under my breath, I'm probably working on your card!!

I'll just sit with you and let you guide me along in case I can't follow your directions...
My computer is acting up so if I type something funny, sorry (keyboard and mouse are acting up).
Lisa has emailed me that she can not come one Saturday. Poor thing has had pneumonia and though she would feel better by now to participate but she is just not well enough and she doesn't want to chance getting one else sick also. So we are only 30 for Saturday unless someone fill in at the last minute.
Get better soon Lisa.
Inky Hugs,
Kathy

Have a great day stamping tomorrow. I will miss you, but looking forward to Reisterstown even more. I am looking forward to seeing all the cards by way of Joann :p
Connie, Joann is bringing you the hemostats, it took a while for me to collect a few because I was on vacation. But there are 8 or 9 all cleaned up and sterilized and ready to go.
Happy stamping!
Lynn

Lynn,
Wow, thank you! I honestly had forgotten but am so glad YOU remembered. Thank you so, so much.
Connie
Good evening everyone. We just got back from setting up and the hall looks so empty with out 30 ladies stamping away in it - LOL.
I just PM'ed those attending that don't have my cell # so now you should have it in case you have questions getting there tomorrow.
I'm cutting the last of my card stock and boxing up the last of my supplies for the big event.
Don't forget we are doing the food drive tomorrow, if you want to participate. 1 ticket per food item. A Food item is described as 1 regular size package. 2 Smaller cans/boxes will count as 1 food item. Plus I will draw for a sepetate prize for paper products. A regular size package would be 2 rolls of paper towles, 4 rolls of TP or 2 boxes of kleenex. Food drive prizes will be $15 SU gift certificates (1 for food and 1 for paper products). Remember this is to help out a family really down on their luck.
There will also be door prizes and a prize for guessing how many candy corns in the container (a prize PLUS the candy).
So, lots of fun, stamping and great food awaits us all tomorrow.
Looking forward to a STAMPendous Day!
Kathy

Reason: spell check, Doh!
What FUN time at the swap today!! EVERY card was fabulous! I couldn't chose a favorite if I had to! Kathy, thanks for putting this swap together!! I'm really looking forward to the next one!!! Thanks for letting me participate!!
Kathy,
Thanks for doing this swap. My first big one! I was impressed w/the organization and all the other work you did. The cards were phenomenal and Im looking forward to going back and re-appreciating them all. Have a couple to finish up. I am sooo slow but everyone was helpful. Thanks for being close to home too! It was nice meeting you also! Hope you can relax today. You deserve it.
And I mean that! I don't know what else to say. It was wonderful fun, great cards and Connie Stamper? You are the best! Thanks so much for helping me with your card. Rose, you are a fine lady and your daughter is darling plus you had a good tqable of laughter too. CathyL, you and your mom are a hoot! You keep me laughing. And Tracy/Cherie? Just too funny and too special. Zingers fly, sometimes right over my head! Amanda, great card! Missed you and wished you were there. Such fun chatting with everyone, and Mary/Kathy? You girls make some mean cards..............love them.
ScrapKathy? You did a terrific job and I can't wait for the next one. It was a great location and a wonderful set-up. You would never know it was your first swap. Lori, so good to see you again.
To the ladies at my table? The company makes the swap. Sara, Jeaneen and Michelle, you kept me laughing, centered and focused while still getting silly! I hurt from the laughter and I am blessed with knowing you all.
A swap is made of many things, food, friendships, beautiful cards and laughter being important. This ranked high in all areas. I need some mac n cheese right now. I need some of the wonderful talent that created such fun cards. I miss it all already.
Rose, I have some unfinished cards too..........does age have anything to do with that? LOL!

Great swap yesterday, Kathy - you're an expert hostess already! I couldn't think of anything better to do on a cool and rainy Saturday than be inside stamping and socializing with friends. Thanks for hosting, and I look forward to your next swap Cathy
Thanks Kathy for the wonderful swap yesterday! You did a fantastic job hostessing your first one, you would have thought this was your 100th! As always, the cards, food, friendship and camaraderie was outstanding! It was definitely the perfect day to spend inside stamping and sharing with everyone! I am looking forward to your next one for sure!
What a great day - the cards were outstanding and all the friends and new people I met made my day. Kathy, great job hosting. I'm so glad you are close. Looking forward to future SBSwaps.
Connie Stamper (Seifert)
What a great day of cards, food, and laughter!! I have to say the laughter was my favorite part - hearing it all day and doing it myself. What a fun group of talented ladies! Kathy, great job hosting your first swap!
Thank you so much for your kind words about the swap yesterday but I could not have done it with out help. Thank you CindyL for sharing your knowledge gained from doing these over the last several years. I know that shared knowledge helped me throw a good first swap. I also need to thank my husband Russ for helping me set up, tear down and taking out the trash (his job at home, also). He is such a dear. Thanks to everyone who helped clean up, move tables, etc. Your help is always greatly appreciated. Then a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who attended for making it such a great first event for me. I loved doing it and look forward to my next one in February.
I also need to thank everyone who donated food and paper products. Russ and I took the stuff over to them this afternoon and they were both very surprised (since we had not told them ahead of time what we were doing). After a few tears, they both said I must have an amazing group of friends and to thank each and every one them for their kindness.
I feel so blessed to know each and every one of you truly beautiful ladies.
Inky Hugs to all,
Kathy

I know I'm a little late getting on here and saying thanks for hosting the swap and thanks to all of those that contributed such great cards to my collection!! I came away with lots of inspiration!!!
Mich, what a great thing you got me to try. I just finished making my mess with the shaving cream and what fun. Each sheet is like a miniature surprise. So very cool.
