I didn't turn the A/C on until almost 4 pm this afternoon. The breeze felt good. I spent another day at my craft table. Slowly but surely getting my projects done.
For those of you attending the Swap next weekend, I have a request/suggestion....
IF you have a white gel pen and a black marker (fine-tip marker or uniball will work) could you bring it? I have one of each for our use, but it would speed things up if there are more.

Thanks, Karen. I got mine out and will get it in my tool box.
My card has a few tiny google eyes that need to be glued on so you may want to include some type of glue pen in your tool kit. I can't wait to meet and make cards! See you all soon.
I would sure love to do this but I live in Oroville....too far *sigh*

Let me know if any of you are interested in something like this. I always enjoy doing this because it gives me time to sit down and "focus" on creating.
For the extra swap: same rules - how many kits?? I think I might like to do an extra, I just need to know how many and see if my two partners want to as well!! Thanks - Alex
I have a cuttlebug for sale. It's about 1 year old and includes all the sandwich plates (4-b, 1-a & 1-c plate) and a silicon mat all for $35 no tax. I can bring it to the swap if anyone is interested.

Hi Alex, Just saw this. For some reason, email notification is hit and miss. For the extra project, you would make the same number of kits. And for the holiday, preferrably one different that what you signed up for. If you and your friends decide to do an extra project, let me know which one you choose to do so we have an idea.
Yipee skippy!! Fair done, got my cards done!! I'm doin' good!! Don't even have to stay up late on Friday!!! There's a first!!! Can't wait to see everyone's creations!!
See ya on Saturday!!
Jennik
Wow Jenni you are good! I still haven't started yet...
Our master bath remodel is starting this week. Demo is scheduled for Wednesday! I am hoping that I can get to creating sometime soon since I'll be home for more of the days.
Betty, just to confirm that we bring 15 kits? I was re-reading the first posts and saw 16 names on the list. Do we skip our own project for ourselves, is that right?

Hi,
Yes, you will skip yourself on the kit...however you'll bring a completed sample for everyone to see.
I haven't started on my kits yet, but I have everything laid out. I really need to work on that. My son is going to his aunts tomorrow afterschool, so I am hoping to work on everything while he is gone.
I thought I was going to be later in starting my swap kit, however, I am just about done. Yay!! Hopefully I will be all done with everything I am doing by Friday and can have a day to relax. Good for you, Jenni. Isn't that a good feeling when everything is done!! Ok, Renee and Candice - let's get moving here. LOL! Actually, its amazing how everything does get done in due time. Renee, hope the bathroom remodel goes good and there are no hangups.
I was down at the clubhouse this morning and everything is good for us to be down there most of the day on Saturday. They are going to open the clubhouse early so I can get down there by 7 or after. They usually don't open it up until 8 on the weekends.
Oh, I only got an email notice for Jenni's post, however not for Candice and Renee. Strange how it is hit and miss. And I stay logged in.
I can't wait to see everyone on Saturday...it is finally getting close. Well, I'm off and running to work on my swap and a scrapbook that needs to be done by the 5th...eek!
I can't believe it!! I finished my card kits. Got everything else I needed to do done. All that is left to do is get the drinks, paper products, ice and figure out what main dish I am going to make. My salad is easy, its one of my old standby's. ) So I have a couple of days to clean up my craft table and maybe work on some of my SCS card swaps. Well, maybe I'll wait until next week.
So hope you all are getting done too and looking forward to Saturday.
Have you noticed how the mornings are changing? A little cooler now. Won't be long and summer will be over and Fall will be with us. I am so looking forward to cooler weather. We still have some warm days to deal with, I understand Saturday will be warm. Well, we'll enjoy the nice air conditioned clubhouse.

Yes I love the fact that when I get up, I can open all of the windows and let the breeze in. I don't usually turn on the AC until later in the afternoon or early evening. The downfall is that my office is now upstairs...and heat rises, so it is warmer up here then downstairs.
Oh me too, I just love that cool air!! Makes me think about the holidays already. I've been enjoying walking my son to school -- and the dog has been getting spoiled with that morning walk too, so she gets mad now when we don't walk.
And she has been mad the last two days, since my son got pinkeye. Sheesh just a couple of weeks of school and already he caught it! He's officially no longer contagious now so he'll be back in school tomorrow.

See you Saturday!
Yes, the holidays are a comin'. I told my husband last week that I am really excited this year about the holidays...not sure why, but they are just around the corner.
My son was only in school for 7 days before he was kept home for a fever/congestion, so I feel your pain. We did later find out, that the fever was brought on because he was cutting his first adult tooth.
It's another beautiful morning. Just a couple more days until our big day. Trust you all have your projects done or close to it. So looking forward to seeing all your creations.
