The deadline to register for swaps is April 6thth!!!!!
Join us for an entire day of stamping fun! Cost - $25.00 per person. It was so much fun with a limited amount of crafter’s let’s do it again. This will give you 2 weeks to complete your swaps after the deadline. Mail, e-mail, or give your registration form to Becky O’Donnell. There are no refunds, but you may offer your spot to someone else.
Here’s what is planned –
Mandatory - Everyone is responsible for a shoebox project for 18 other crafters plus a few oopsies and 3 finished projects. (3 Finished projects will be – 1 for the display board, one for me in the basket up front, and 1 for sample at your table location.) This can be a full card, tag, treat carrier, gift card holder or 3-D item with layers and embellishments that can be completed in 10 to 15 minutes. If you are unsure, time someone else doing your project. If your project takes a special adhesive, please provide it but have your name on it so it doesn’t disappear. Please make these something you’d be thrilled to get yourself. Please give your shoebox project a name so I can list them.
18 shoebox kits plus 3 finished of these kits. All supplies needed in a small baggie or kit form to make 18 of the same projects. (Also, a small bag of oopsies for things that may be missing for ruined unintentionally) You can use different DSP if you don’t have enough to make 18 the same –
WE will have everyone take out their shoeboxes and you will have all day to finish the 18 spots. (There will be room for 2 people at each spot if needed to complete a project.) 2 Extra fancy fold make-in-takes will be available if you wish to complete. We will work in a round-robin fashion to do each of the projects, meaning, you will get up from each project and proceed to the next project. A brief description left at your station will help tablemates to do your special shoebox project. YOU will move, NOT the Project. Everyone will also write their name next to your project so confused crafters can ask for assistance if needed.
When you arrive, you will put one of your projects on a display board with a number, one in a basket at that table and the third will go to your shoebox project area.
Optional Swaps will be full cards…
Male NVR (non-Vendor related card, Let’s make it masculine since it’s the hardest one to come up with)
Stampin Up – current or retired.
Non- Vendor card – any type of card using any vendor’s stamps.
Fancy Fold – a full card non-vendor.
CONTEST!!!
There will be a contest of your 3 favorite shoe box, one entry per person, voted on by everyone.
And a contest for the Best Swap Award in each category
Garage Sale – Bring your own stamps and or stamping supplies to sell or trade. Current Stampin Up items must be offered in trade only. You can sell retired items. Sorry, I can’t be responsible for missing items, so you bring it at your own risk. There will be a limited amount of table space for garage sale items, so if you have a lot of stuff, please bring your own table. There is no fee to sell or trade at this event. Please have your items priced. It is annoying to ask, and your box is labeled with your name so people can find you to pay.
Goodie Bags – for everyone!!! Everyone will leave with a bag of fabulous goodies. The goodie bags will have all the same value with some variations in colors, etc. If you would like to donate to the door prize table, please let me know. I love to share my stash.
Other Stuff – Please bring your own labeled items for your personal stamping needs, including your favorite adhesive, scissors, glue dots, foam tape. These are the items you just can’t stamp without.
Did I say ADHESIVES!!! You will use a lot of them.
Share this event with a newbie or friend, all are welcome.
All funds collected will be spent on the event, for the room, drinks, snacks, lunch, paper projects, etc. Lunch will be Pizza from Santino’s, a green salad, homemade mac n cheese, and desserts. If you have any questions, like bringing something to the prize table or a snack to share, please ask. (Hint – you maybe be asked for the recipe, my best recipes come from friends)

Thought I was adding names to the list on my phone, not put in a new thread, Anyone want to bring a door prize or have donations, even if they can't attend.
