Hi Ladies! Only 2 weeks away! I am one of those disgusting early birds doing my projects this year. I always seem to come up short on time and then I am under the gun and not proud of my work! I'm almost done but I've been stamping all day. I'm using the Cheers set for a variety of my swaps-- I hope everyone likes frosty drinks as much as me.
Can't wait for the 28th!
BTW-- can anyone bring items for the garage sale??

I have "accessory" items for the garage sale...I have several tall cabinets with drawers (the plastic ones on wheels) that I don't need; some extra white shelves (those 'cube-type' ones from Target), and other assorted non-stamp items.
Robin, bring baby pictures...or I'll make you drive back home and get them! (Oh, wait...I'm forgetting that Dawn probably has MORE pictures than you do!! Tee-hee!)

Hi, there must've been a problem... I sent my lunch order as soon as the email came! Oh well, I'd like a lulu on marble bread hold the mayo, but put it on the side (light if possible.) Salt & vinegar or plain chips, choc chunk cookie.
Now that eveyone knows what I'm having, sorry for the delay!!
Thank you!
Robin

Anyone interested in 8.5x11 and 12x12 retail paper racks?? I've got some to sell for $45 ea, but I'm not bringing them unless someone wants them. They are in pefect condition, I have to take down my stamping area for the bebe!
Hey previous attendees....I'm having a mental block. Did I set up tables with 2 or 4 stations for stamping? I'm thinking 2 just to account for space to spread out. Can anyone confirm?
-Tracy

thanks Dawn. there's a new person in charge of the party room this year, and she seems confused about how I want the room set up. They don't get too many stamping groups LOL!

Just saw a forecast of 3-6 inches of snow for Saturday. JUST SAY NO!!!!
Everyone put out your best mojo to make the storm move away from our area

Update this morning for my area says snow will start in the afternoon...finishing late at night. We're in the 2-4" band. SE (Milw area) is in a 3-5". North is even less. Keeping fingers crossed that it holds out for everyone to get home safely.

Tracy - This was a great Shoebox - thanks for all of your work in putting it together. It was good to see that you had a chance to participate and not just do all of the work for us! I had a great time and came home with extra stamping energy so I'm working on my notebooks for Friendship!
Another wonderful year at Mad-City! It was really nice to see Tracy get to stamp. Everything was so relaxed and laid back. I am still lovin' all the great new ideas.
Thank You to whoever made the Blue Stationary Box for the Lottery. I won that item and finally got to look at it yesterday. I was really focusing on that last card at the swap, so I didn't look at my prize too much while we were there. Besides some of the other girls wanted to see it and I knew it would be easy for me to look at it later. LOVE the little note cards, full cards...well all of it. Thanks for the stamps too
Ahem, Diane V where do you get all of your energy? The rest of would like some too. LOL.
Thanks guys! It was so fun this year to stamp with you instead of just watching We cruised through our cards, had a great time socializing over lunch, and finished early to beat the snow!! Hope everyone had safe travels home.
Thanks to all those 'extra' hands who helped me set-up, take-down and do the lottery drawing. I loved my lottery - especially the picture frame. It's got 3 parts and different inserts were stamped for various holidays and seasons to change out the center space. I don't know if I described that well...but I'll get some pix posted later.
And Connie (I think it was you)...that stamp set used on the tile is called "Inspired by Nature" - item #111656 - and it is on the dormant list. There's some really nice stuff done with that set if you check out the Showcase and of course the SCS gallery.
See you all next year!!!

Also, if you have any feedback - what you liked, didn't like, etc. - feel free to email me so I can take it into consideration for next time.
Did you like the way I did the optional swaps this time??

I had so much fun Saturday. Loved seeing old peeps and meeting new ones. The cards were all so great. Looking through everything I brought home is like Christmas all over, every time you look you see something new.
Loved all the awesome items for the lottery and different swaps.
This is definitely on the radar for next year.
