Yes, I'll be coming w/ Heidi......well, at least I think I am!!!! I guess I better confirm that with her first! :lol: We have another friend local to us that was interested in coming - I'm not sure if she's sent in reg form or not. Guess I should check on that.....

Yes, of course! Shari keeps promising, but she can't make it this weekend. She's such a busy girl! We'll hook up with Christine as well.

As for the Zindorf workshops, I had to find a new hostess and a new location to hold them. My father passed away August 7, and we had his memorial service and reception in our church August 20 ... same day as the workshop. Thankfully, the church directly across the green from ours was able to accommodate the group, and a friend took over the hostessing duties. I was able to stop by Sunday and meet Michelle and see up close and personal lots of her work. She is very nice, and her work is amazing. She made a 'thinking of you' card for me that is stunning!
I hope you all have fun at the swap. I would really like to attend, but life has been very overwhelming the past few months, and I just can't get motivated to do any stamping. Maybe next time!

Well, I went to the Rubber Stamp & Scrapping show in Rhinebeck today. Bought WAAAY more things that I probably should have or needed...:o
Oh well...my daughter & I had fun day shopping!
Heidi & I went to the make & take event there last night, which was really fun....and the desserts were great!
Now lets see if these 2 events have provided me any inspiration for an SBS idea.....

SuG- Jackie will not be attending, I think she's just mailing in her stuff. She moved to Kansas and at the time wasn't sure if she would be able to attend or not.

So excited, just finished the prototype of my card for the sbs. Now I can just cut out and emboss the pieces, and finish my swap. Love to be ahead of the game (it so rarely happens.)
While my father's death was not unexpected, it did come much sooner than we expected. He died quietly, comfortably, and peacefully, and for that I am grateful. He had been ill for many years, and I think he was just too tired to fight it anymore. He endured a lot during the last several years and he never once complained ... he was a real trooper. He was a quiet man, but touched many lives during his time here on earth, and the outpouring of support we have received has been incredible. He is greatly missed.
I wasn't sure if you had the numbers finalized yet or not. I indicated on my reg form that I would participate in the recipe swap...but I don't see my name listed there.
Su I wish I could come! I don't have the funds to fly out there for this, even though I want to. But I certainly have the funds to mail thinks to Michele and Cammy for the event! I am working on my swaps, in fact I have some designs picked out just finalizing my SBS design so I can start making kits! I can't wait to hear all about the event. I need to find a great group like all of you out here somewhere!
Sue, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad, I had no idea. I hope you and your family are healing. Huge hugs!
I may be sending in some door prize things as well. We are most likely moving into a new house next month (another reason I can't come) and I have to go through my things again to pack. I am sure there will be things that don't make the move and instead end up on their way to NJ!
Do we know when the spring swap will be? Just wondering is I will be able to attend that one. I have to head back to NJ for a doctor's appointment and to see some friends. If the two coincide maybe I can be at the next one!
