I'll chime in to say I had an AWESOME time. It was a blast. It was so fun meeting all you talented ladies and everyone was so nice. Being a newbie I didn't know exactly what to expect but it was better than I could have imagined. Thanks so much to JackieG & Emily and all her helpers. I can't wait until next time.
I had GREAT time! I am so glad I had the chance to go. Thank you Emily and Jackie for all the labor you put into this. It was definitely a new experience for me since I am not into the stamping-internet-scs-culture, and I enjoyed it. I hope to upload more to my gallery and start talking to you all on some threads. I can use any encouragement, so feel free to send me a message.
One more thing, the door prizes given by companies were awesome!
Yes! A HUGE thank you to GinaK, Eclectic Paperie, the Card Ladies, Cut@Home, the Crop Shop, The Crafty Scrapper (LSS), and Verve Visual. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. Many of these donated when we made a very late last minute request so THANK YOU!!!
Thank you all. This "First Timer" felt welcome. I absolutely loved the cards and had so much fun. I'm looking forward to next year. Sandy G. and I got home late, late....but, it was all worth it. Emily, you and your helpers did a fantastic job.
Hey ladies!! Just wanted to let you all know that I had an awesome time, and am still worn out, but I did make it to San Antonio without any disasters!!! Jackie and Emily, thanks for a wonderful day!! To all the helpers, companies, and AWESOME stampers, the door prizes were amazing(thanks Becky, the flower pot made it okay too!!hehe) and all the swaps were rockin!! What wonderful pictures you took Bev. I am not the shutterbug I wish I was. Great job. You could tell that most of the pictures were taken early in the event, towards the end we all had the deer in headlights look. Being tired was never so much fun.
Just a thought for next year. I wonder if maybe at the beginning when we set up or sign in if we could pose for a picture with our card design, I know that there were a couple of tables that I was simply thankful to finish the amazing cards, I did not even get a chance to see who created them. I am also bad with faces & names, I know that this would definitely help my poor old brain. Like I said, just a thought.

Ditto! Ditto! Ditto! It was so wonderful making new friends and meeting eveyrone in person! The cards were FABULOUS, the food, the snacks (yummy Oreos, I'm easy!), and the door prizes...all the best! Thanks Emily and Jackie and to all of the helpers for such a super day!
I'M HOME!!! After 7 hours of flying or in airports, I finally made it back to the northwest. The trip home wasn't bad at all. I had one long layover, so I got to go through my cards for the umpteenth time. These cards are all absolutely fantastic. I can't wait to try and duplicate them, and now I am gonna have to break down and buy some of the stamp sets I don't have, oh poor me. I was so glad to see all of you that I already know in person and glad to meet those of you who were new this year. I hope to see each and every one of you next year. My eyes will be peeled to this forum just waiting to sign up.
I am exhausted, so I won't be downloading my pictures to the gallery for another day or so. Thank you all for such another wonderful year of stamping.

For all those ladies who loved the brownie cookies, here's the recipe.
I box brownie mix (I used Betty Crocker)
1 egg
1/3 cup oil
2 TBSP water
Preheat oven to 375.
Mix all the ingredients. Roll into balls about the size of a ping pong ball and roll in powdered sugar. Bake on a greased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes. That's all there is to them. Enjoy!

Well, gals, this was my 2nd year to attend and it was even more fun than last year -- I didn't think that was possible! Thanks to Emily and Jackie G. and all their little helpers (especially the gal that rolled the cold-cuts for lunch ;) -- so fancy!!); you guys outdid yourselves. And to everyone who attended, too. Aren't stampers the best company?!
