Hi everyone, I just wanted to check in here to chime in and say how excited I am. I wasn't sure I could make it at first, but I can!! I have to leave early as well (Hi there Miss Minx!!)- probably around 2ish, since I have to get back to the DC area for plans that I couldn't cancel on Sat evening. My plan is to try to get down there as early as possible so everyone has a chance to make my card.
My door prize might be store bought as well. It seems like my girls have been in various stages of sickness for the last week and a half so I haven't had time to work on something special. UUUgh!
Good afternoon- I almost said morning but I missed that by about 30 minutes!
I finished everything - I can hardly believe it. I'm getting excited! Now if only I could start my vacation early........Kitty- I really hope something works out and you can make it. I thought I had the worst job/schedule to do this kind of stuff. You may have me beat! We'll start a petition for you if we have to or make a couple of phone calls... ;)
Hey Jimmi, I am really having a hard time coming up with a card that I like. Do you think it will be ok to do that Shell card we did at the downline meeting?

My door prize is partially papercrafted/partially bought.
My mom has a basket of stamping stuff... she didn't know when to stop and there's SOOOO much stuff in it!
I have an awesome little door-prizey something for everybody...let me just say that one of our LOCAL WILLIAMSBURG businesses is AWESOME!! Can't wait for you all to see it!

Especially since I used mine to send to my mom and I really "need" another one ;)

Ok Gang - here is the plan for the moment. Judy will be coming down Saturday morning with my stuff as well as her's. Dawn my sister will be showing up in my place after she hits the Yard Sale at our local church.
Then keeping all our fingers crossed I will get out of work about noon and head down there and be there around 1 or so.
As long as it is ok with everyone that my sister pitch hits for me until I get there. She said she would leave once I got there.
If that is cool with everyone and she shows up - just let her look at stuff and not do any of my cards. She has threatened to put them all together backwards :-) She is a scrapbooking snob and doesn't "do" cards

Don't worry, Jimmi. I have special eye-opening tooth picks that I use when I work at 6 am. I will bring those for you. 9 am will seem like a dream for me. ;)
I have my 3-D made with the help of my two grandsons LOL they love to stamp. I also have my card idea together (Which I copied from Kitty and she borrowed from SCS) I have the materials cut out and baggies ready but now I'm panicing alittle because I always have Kitty there to keep me straight (Oh what a job) LOL I love these stamp camps and now a shoe box day. It's gonna be a great time!!! 2 days left :-) Judy

It's my first too... I've got an 1hr and 40 min drive in according to yahoo... I can't wait to get there..

Reporting in - 3d's about 1/2 of the way complete. Have to stop at the store on the way home from work tomorrow for chocolate for them! I have five that are completely done. And fifteen that are about 2/3's of the way finished. Gettin there slowly.
Oh and the door prize! Yikes I gotta get that done too. Looks like another late night tomorrow night too!
I might need a nap on Saturday!

I have my 3-D's done, most of my SBS cut and punched and the door prize is done. If I have time, I am going to add to my doorprize!!
Is anyone interested in carpooling? I am in Suffolk, and have a van. Let me know and I will put the 2nd row seat back in. I can take 5 people plus me. We can meet at a central location, you can come to my house, or I can pick you up, depending on where you live.

I can't wait to meet everyone and see all the talent out there. And I am dying to see if we have any AHEMs, lol!!

It is 9pm and I am wishing I had a margarita - or something right now. Still at work and just getting started entering numbers into the system. I will be lucky to get home by midnight :-(

would love to carpool... I'm driving through Suffolk... Dropping off the kids at grandmas then heading up. Oh I just got in from taking the boys iceskating so I'm might be dragging in the morning...

Hehe... I was making brownies for tomorrow and decided to start picking/cleaning up and go through the piles of mail (argh!) and got carried away... 3 1/2 hrs of sleep...I'll be good to go!
