I think he's adorable! I'd adopt him if I could! No matter who wins, they both are gonna have huge careers I think. I think David A will get 2nd and cut a Christian cd... I'd love that. Working on my 3D right now! It's tiny and oh-so-simple but I hope you guys like it (and I think you will!). It's good for wedding or baby shower favors...or birthdays too, for that matter...

I found a card in the SU idea book & catalog that I want to do for my card...is that bad? I showed my mom and she had never even noticed it in the catalog!! It only takes about 9 minutes to do so that would be perfect... Anybody think that's a problem...that it's not one I designed by myself???

I've got my cards designed and cut for my Monday night club and I'm working on 3D for the swap plus stamped some with my bestest stamping buddy...did some more stamp space organizing and got 3 loads of laundry done... It's been a wonderful weekend!

I have done no stamping today. We went to the beach and stayed there most of the day...it was perfect and relaxing, just what I needed!!
Congrats Aimee of winning the scorpal! That is awesome, I have an old one and dont like it so I want a new one, bad!
I will be heading over to Judy's in a little while to help her with her SBS card.
Then Alan and I have to go get the truck - It broke down on his son this morning. If we can't get it started we have to tow it to the dealer and then pick up a rental car as there has to be a car with Alan at all times in case we get the call that a Heart is available for him.
Ok I am putting the call out there for the slackers!!!

The only reason I made my 3-d swaps is that I am avoiding the wedding invitations I have to make, lol!!

Does having the idea count...I need to cut all my card stuff - I am using a card I used for my last class so I just need to measure and cut (I never write the measurements of the cards down - all the little pieces and mats)
for my 3-D I was going to do one thing...and then I went to a demo meeting and we did a very cute hands on 3-d thing that I think I am going to do...simple but so cute and it will help me use up scraps ...

I'm usually a slacker! Even a last-minute slacker, LOL! Don't know what's wrong with me! Got my 3Ds done last night and I think I'm going ahead with the catalog card...it's cute and I hope one that no one's noticed in the book!

We have dance recital (the same weekend as the swap!) and graduation stuff going on now so I'm trying to stay ahead...probably won't last long, though!
I am with you all. I have my idea for my SB and about 3 going for the 3D. Just can't make up my mind. Today was supposed to be off work, but ended up going in because the other person in the office needed to take the whole week off for a new grandchild's arrival. Darn those kids. Hope to get to it next weekend.
:-( I am very sad. My hopes of being there are getting slimmer and slimmer.
Just heard today that they are laying off 2 people in my office.
Of course they have to pick right before inventory to do it. :-(

I have "ideas" but since I have never tried them out, I have no idea how feasible they are- so it's anyone's guess at this point if any of them will work. I am getting ready to start my 12 hour day stretch at work so I'd better figure it out today so I can fix it all up next week. Wish me luck!
Sherri - thanks again for having the get together in your home Monday night. I really think since it was my turn to be the hostess that you and Kitty came up with doing the beautiful glitter cards! You know I try to stay 100 feet away from glitter!
The cards are beautiful and were easy to do but that was a one and only glitter night for me :-) I was right.... the ladies at work are laughing at me making something with glitter.

Sherri - I have changed my idea on my shoebox card so many times. Has anybody else had this problem? There are too many wonderful ideas and with so many beautiful pattern paper and stamps - it's hard to decide!
Kitty told me I have to commit & demo a card by Saturday and then fill my shoebox :-) the rest of the weekend. Of course there's the 3 D to be made also. I will be stamping.....yeahhhhhh Judy
Hi Sherri and ladies.. I'm sorry to say that I won't be making it to the get-together *pouting*..My dd's girlscout bridging ceremony will the the Friday night prior. I have tried to figure out how to still make it.... and, I just have to come to the realization that I'm not.. I even had a card picked out and my 3-d *double pout*... please keep me in mind if/when you do this again. I would so love to get together with some fellow SCSer.. I am sure you guys will have a great time... I'll be thinking of you.
