Holy cow! I have been super-busy at work and with DS and I totall missed all the "Ahem" talk! I am rolling on the floor laughing now. Thank goodness I was done eating and my drink is on the table! Wow! And Woo Hoo pops??? OMG!!
Jen- I just got the scallop circle nesties and I just ordered the classic oval nesties. The circles say LG but I thought I ordered the small ones. IDK- I ordered them through a Nestabilities Club at my LSS. I don't have the ovals yet- but they should be the small set.
Jenni - I have the small and large regular and scallop circles. I don't have the petite ones though.
Do you want samples of those?
Any preference in color? Do you want me to mail them to you?
I would love samples - no preference in color - heck if you want to do them on cheap CS or copy paper that is fine with me I just want to see them and hold them and figure out what set of circles I would use the most...I am trying to reign in my spending so I want to just get one set of circles and want to see which set will work the best for the majority of what i picture in my head...I really would like to see which ones work the best with the Just rite monogram stamps
If you can bring them on the 31st that would be great - I am in no hurry for them

I can do that! I will do all the shapes for you. I have Squares, Rectangles, Circles and Ovals all in regular and scallop. I was a good girl and got them for Christmas from my hubby!!!

Here's the list for 3D and Door Prizes... "1" means Yes and "0" means No...
Please let me know if I have you listed incorrectly...
As I have it now, there are 19 3D's (I don't have a yes or no for pnindazz so I need to check on that...) and 24 bringing door prizes. We still have the two tentatives on the list and I will check with them for a definite answer before the 16th...

OK I can't make those numbers move and line up... The 1st number is 3D and the 2nd number is door prize... Sorry if I'm confusing anyone! It lost the format when I copied it from my spreadsheet...
So
1 1 means YES for 3D and door prize
0 1 means NO for 3D and YES for door prize
0 0 means NO for both
I can do that! I will do all the shapes for you. I have Squares, Rectangles, Circles and Ovals all in regular and scallop. I was a good girl and got them for Christmas from my hubby!!!
That would be great...of course that will enable me even more.
I will bring my just rite stampers - I have two of the monogram sets - the Curlz and the more scripty type one ... so I will bring both and everyone can give them a whirl if they would like to try them out before they buy them...

Pretty good mother's day here. Hope everyone had a good one!!
I have a question about the SBS....My card (which is planned, woo hoo!!-no relation to chocolate Woo hoos) has some punched elements. Should I pre-punch everything, which I am more than happy to do, to save time on my card? The only part I wouldn't punch is the punched out part with the stamp on it, since people would want to stamp that part themselves and center it.
Thanks for the help!!

The card I am thinking about doing has some punched elements and I am planning on prepunching all but the one the image goes on (for the same reason better to stamp and then punch)

I think due to the amount of cards we have to make that pre-punching is best. I will keep that in mind when I make/plan my card which I don't even have a clue what I am doing yet......AAAAHHHH!!!
BUT I think I know what my 3-d swap and door prize will be. I haven't made them yet...but I THINK I know what I will be making if it works out like I want it too.

I picked up part of my door prize this afternoon... It's not directly stamping-related, but it is indirectly related! I own multiples of it and use them all the time.
My friend Stacy came over last night and helped me start organizing my stamp space and she's coming back Thursday (yep, it's not something that can be done in a couple nights...I let it get pretty bad!!) THANK YOU STACY!!!

OMG you guys, you would seriously die if you saw my craft disaster/room!
It is so bad that I am just taking piles of crap and setting it on the floor...I have nowhere else to put it:oops:
I have about a 6 inch by 6 inch area to make my 3-d swaps I am working on right now...yup it's bad. To clear off that tiny space I had to just push the pile of scrap paper right into the trash can...it was too much to even go through and sort...
Hey at least you have a craft/disaster room. Our son moved here from OK in January and took over the guest room which I had been using as my craft room. Now I have bits and pieces all over the house - primarily the dining room. Really impresses people who come over to see a large rolling craftman style toolbox sitting there in the middle of the dining room with all my rolling croppers around it. :-)
My Husband wonders if he will ever be able to use the dining room table to eat at again. I tell him move your "stuff" out of the mother in law suite and I will use that. He is weakening :-)
I have my 3D figured out but the SBS is a whole different kettle of fish. Judy and I keep discussing what we each are going to do. I predict a very busy Memorial Day Weekend
Tonight I will start on my 3D - I already know what those are.
I had an idea for my SBS last night - just got to see if I have all the stuff.
My big problem is going to be getting there. My work decided that is inventory weekend. I am going to get everything together and if they make me come in Saturday I am going to find a sub to go with Judy. They can take all the credit for my work HAHA
Is anyone planning on participating in the Garage Sale??
I may bring a few things to sell
I don't have stamps but I have a few Alterables I would like to divulge myself of - I bought them thinking i would do classes and I have decided to step away from classes for the time being...
So I will have some (in case anyone wants to bring some $$$ - I'll take checks too)
DVD tins
2 and 4 slot plain cardboard bottle holders
I may have a few plain checkbook covers and a few stampable silk scarves

I was thinking I would bring my retired sets if that is okay?
I was also thinking for my SBS, should I do the gluing of some of the elements to save time on my card? THere are circles and scallops and stuff that need to be glued, and if I do the gluing of those elements, not the stuff folks have to stamp, mind you, but some of the layers, my card could go a little faster so maybe some of you will be able to eat some pizza, or whatever else there is to eat, lol.

Well my plan is to whine alot the next week and a half about working on Saturday when I have plans. By the 30th everyone will be so tired of hearing me whine that they will all work late Friday to finish it up and only a skeleton crew will need to come in on Saturday:twisted:

Are you coming over here to organize next??
Honestly I just had to take my whole arm and move everything ot the side with it to have an area to stamp a card...that 6 inches of space I normally had was gone!! Right now there is a pile of markers, punches, paper, scissors, glue, stamps and who knows what else on my table...it's kind of disgusting actually, I better leave the room, lololol!

Personally I would think just cutting would be fine! I would prefer to put the card together myself.
