I am so glad to hear that everyone's families and friends are all safe. Can you believe it was a week ago? Sometimes it seems much further away than that, other times, it seems like yesterday.

I went down the road where most of the damage was done and it is unbelievable. It doesn't even look like the same place. Of course most of the damage was done in the neighborhoods which you cannot go into, but I saw that strip mall. Pictures just cannot do it justice. Wow!
I may have an idea for my 3-d swap but I definitely have an idea for a door prize. If it works. I have NO idea for my SBS card, though. It may come down to the wire like it did last time.....I always say I won't procrastinate....but I always do!! :rolleyes:

DH and I rode out that way on Sunday on the Harley. I took a couple pictures with my phone. It was unbelievable!

We have a friend who's a firefighter in Suffolk and he has sent some pictures from within the closed-off area... Definitely unbelievable. We are so fortunate that people weren't killed...
I don't remember what I brought either, I just know it must have been really good, lol!!

Last year I think my doorprize I brought was a decorated clipboard and a bunch of crafting goodies (chipboard squares, ribbon, etc...) - umm yeah don't be surprised if my doorprize is the pretty much the same...I am up to my elbows in trying to get everything together for a stamping class this Friday and then in the middle of making 150 chocolate starfish pops for my sisters wedding in June (can only make 20 at a time)...(but before that I have to make about 15 *AHEM* {throat clearing sound} chocolate pops for my sisters Bachlorette party...can you guess what an AHEM is??? - interestingly they make ALOT of different AHEM chocolate molds - I felt slightly dirty ordering an AHEM chocolate mold along with the starfish molds)

Maybe you need to stop *overcompenstaing* and make smaller AHEMS :twisted:...uses less chocolate...

Size of the AHEMS doesn't matter!!! Let's face it....it's chocolate and we will all be wanting some of those AHEMS, no matter what the color, or how big they are!!!

I am actually debating if I should offer AHEMS on my Etsy shop next to my cards and journals...make back a few bucks I have spent on my sisters wedding favors...but I don't know if it would be cost prohibitive since it would take at least $4 just to make 8 of the AHEMS and I would most likely have to mail them priority so the AHEMS didn't melt in the mail...cause ya know - no one likes a droopy AHEM:rolleyes:

You should have seen the "WHOO-HOO" molds... I almost bought one of those thinking I could make up a few WHOO-HOO pops so if DH complained it had been a while since he last got access to a WHOO-HOO - I could just give him a pop and go back to making cards...

I have to stop reading this where my kids are in earshot. They keep asking me what is so funny!!!! How do you explain chocolate Woo-Hoos and AHEMS!!
The comedian Ron White has a comedy CD called "You Can't Stop Stupid" where he tells about trying to do his routine while a table of women were having a bachelorette party and eating chocolate AHEMS. He said no one was watching him, and the men had a look on their faces like, "Is this free?". ROFL

Hey - does anyone have any of the circle nestabilities dies - if so can you do me a big favor and cut one of each - I am interested in maybe buying a scallop circle set but I want to see how big each one is...I just got the Justrite monogram stampers and I envision using those to make lots of gifts this holiday season but I want to see which scallop circle set works the best - I would love to physically see the difference between the classic and peite...
I can definately promise you at the very least a Chocolate AHEM for your trouble - along with a goodie bag of stuff

Do you have the final number of people taking part in the 3d swap? I am notoriously slow and late about finishing. I would like to start as soon as possible so I have at least some of them done before Friday night. Especially since I have 3 ideas and haven't completely decided which one to do yet.

Jenni - I have the small and large regular and scallop circles. I don't have the petite ones though.
Do you want samples of those?
