So I will go ahead and give you the info we do have and then we can update this post as we get it all together.

Directions:
Take Route 20 to Morrisville.
At the main intersection turn North onto Cedar Street. Follow Cedar St for 0.6 miles. The Church is on the East side just outside the village limits. Link to Online Mapping Tool
The cost is going to be $15 again.
We will be doing a shoebox swap and a cardfront swap again for sure.
All other information I am still gathering and poutting together.

just signing up is not enough, your payment is your reservation...the first 52 people who pay will get the seats....
If I pay after my first paycheck on September 15th, can I still join?? I have never been to one of these, so I am not really sure what to do or bring. I don't even know what a shoebox swap is. Any help is appreciated.

A shoebox swap is this....
Basically you put all the materials to make up a card or project (pre-cut paper, ink, accessories, stamps etc), enough for all participants, in a box. Everyone else in the group does the same. Then when we are all together the boxes can go from person to person so EVERYONE gets to make every project. So if we have 15 people, you have enough materials for your project to be made 15 times (plus a little extra for booboos). Make any sense??

I've been waiting for this! I want to come. I just have to ok it with hubby tonight, but I don't think it will be any problem . I'll send you money asap.
I've never ever been to a gathering like this before, so i might be asking some stoopid questions
Since I'm going to be coming from Buffalo, I'm probably going to want to stay overnight.. any suggestion for lodging? I'll do some research on my own, but if ya'll have any imput, please feel free!
I highly recommend Comfort Inn and Suites in Syracuse. Killer pool, killer breakfast!!! My husband and I take our kids there - they LOVE it. Feels like a mini-vacation.

Still waiting for the date of a family event (story of my life) but I want to be there.
When is payment due and how many attendees are expected (a rough idea so I can plan my shoebox swap etc.)?
Also (sorry if I overlooked this) - what time is it starting? According to Yahoo, the Church is about 4.5 hours away from my house. I can be up (and even alert) early but would want/need lodging for Saturday night. Local suggestions of clean, basic motel rooms (also inexpensive - I'm broke and it'll be worse in November) will be appreciated.

Just talked to hubby. I'm in! He said we'll all go and he can take the boys to cooperstown while I'm playing! Woohoo! Now I've got to start feeling better so my creative juices can come up with something fun to do!
Great referrals on the hotels. Since we're coming across the 90, I'm surfing for hotels in those parts for convenience. I did find a great off peak rate at embassy suites but i'll check more. I'm such a bargain hunter.. but gotta have a hotel with internet access so I can upload pics immediately!

Oh crap.......
I read about these gatherings all the time, and of course for this one, I will be in Rochester for the weekend. Oh well, I guess I will just have to catch the next one. That stinks but, I will be thinking of you all!!
Kirstin-did you end up getting those stars for your TV room at Christmas Tree Shops? Everytime I look at my bare wall, I wish I had picked a couple up! Oh, well! I'll have ta stamp something to put there!
