Hi Ladies...well, it has been almost one year (ok, just 7 months..lol) since our last get together, so let's do another! Last year it was here in Nashville...does anyone object to it being here again or do we want to move it to East or West TN? I was thinking that April woudl be a good month...a Saturday, all day thing like last year with everyone bringing a project to make and take...any thoughts? Interest?
I have it down for the 28th since most everyone can make it that weekend. I am thinking, again, about doing 10 till 5, with dinner to follow. I believe that last year we had 25 people, and that's probably where we need to cut it off this time. Again,there will be no money exchanging hands before the event....just bring money for pizza, money for dinner, and money to give to the church for their kindness.
Each participant will bring enough supplies for everyone else to make a FULL card of their sample card. You can either put each persons supplies in a ziploc or you can just have your stuff laid out for us to use. If you use glitter on your card, bring it...dimensionals, bring them...anything other than scissors and adhesive you will need to bring. There are outlets, so embossing should be okay! But Cuttlebugs, Xyrons..any of those types of things are fine. We're here to have fun! Also the cards need to be high quality cardstock. It doesn't *have* to be SU! as long as it is nice! Also, feel free to use any companies stamps..SU! CTMH, Inky Antics, Bella...whatever.
Oh, and also if you have coveted stamp sets that you like to bring so that others can stamp images, that would be great! Remember to bring cardstock if you are going to stamp images from others..don't do a Keva from last year and have nothing to stamp the images on..LOL. These can be retired stamps (like the girl scout SU stamps), or stamps from othr companies that you think people might like (Bellas, clear stamps, whatever...).
Door prizes...last year everyone bought something to put in the door prize areaand as we called number (everyone had a ticket), you got to go up and pick a prize. It could be stamped stuff,stamps, ink pads...whatever YOU would like to see in a door prize. If you don't want it, chances are we won't either...LOL...so no stamped doilies!;) Kidding..

Hey Keva, Nashville at the same church...ya got my vote. I know the girls would love to attend with me again, depending on the date. I am doing the ST/IL again in April so jlmk. THANKS! Let me know if you need some help.
Ok...glad we have some interest! What about April 21st? Would that work for everyone? I will check with Jen about using that church again...it was a nice experience wasn't it??

Works great for me...its the day after my oldest DS turns 14 but we will party on his bd....OH I hope this date works out. I really, really want to attend again. We had such a great time during the 1st gathering.THANKS Keva!
LOL. I know I don't even have to ask my aunt about using the church again. She has told me several times how much she liked our group and that we can use the church anytime. She jokes about how we left it cleaner than she'd ever seen it. I will definitely be there as long as it is later in April. The first 2 weekends are swamped with me due to Passover. I am sure you can use the church even if I can't be there though so just give me a definite date and we'll get it booked.

Hey all! I just wanted to introduce myself- I'm Kelsey. I'm 22 and married to a Army National Guardsman who is currently at the Arizona/Mexico border helping to rebuild the fence. He's been gone since Aug.06. I've been a demo since Sept.06 and have loved it ever since. Tamara (tldaniel) has already mentioned that I'd come. I'm really looking forward to it! She's told me how much fun you all had last year!

Well, I have to say that this Florida chick is probably going to have to pass this time around, but I'm there for the next one! We have a trip to New Orleans this month, to Las Vegas in March, and my daughter's graduation in May. I just can't take anymore time off, and I don't think I can get the money tree in the backyard to produce any extra crops this year! :p
