Good morning everyone! Can't wait to get my craft table out today. I don't think we have any weekend guests til the very last weekend of June (of course the baby may change that... with people come to visit). But means I can leave my table up for a good stint this time. I'm I'm stocked full of inspiration right now!

Okay ladies, I am very desperate for some help. If anyone has the origami dress instruction out of the Minigami book by Gay Merrill Gross, please, please, please could you mail me a copy of them. Every online, offline book store is temporarily sold out of copies and I have a group that would like 125 cards made with that pattern. THANKS.

Have you tried the library? i just reserved it from our library, so as soon as I get it, I can send you the pattern. Please remind me in about 3 days because I know I will forget... unless someone else has the pattern for you by then.
Talking about rain, yes Vancouver is noted for its rain but mild climate!! DIL and I went to one of the local out of town stores yesterday to check out their craft supplies and spent 20 minutes sitting in the car as a huge thunderstorm passed over us. We thought we were going to float away it was so torrential, both rain and hail! We did eventually get out and into the shop and spent a few GBpounds!! Fortunately in spite of the size of the hail stones they weren't large enough to damage the car although it sounded like it while we were sitting there. The rest of the day both before and after the storm was lovely. It's even better today. :lol:
This is a fun picture the two of you steaming up the car on the streets .... Pretty romantic... Good work Ruth ;)
Wow, I was out helping a friend prepare for her sister's wedding and I missed a lot here this soggy afternoon.
Thank you. I will try our local library on Tuesday, but will let you know how that turns out.

It was so much fun last year - I'm in! But I'm going to sign up for some of the swaps this year as I was green with envy over all the cool stuff that was swapped last year. Adalee - will send $ to you. Char

YIPPEE--so glad to have you back I'm looking forward to seeing you. Hope we have time to actually chat this time....rather than some brief pop in's by me!!!!
When we were kids we learned wheat weaving as a craft.... I may use that skill and turn it into bulrush weaving... we have quite the marsh outback. YIKES....

I need vitamin D --- I can't afford a case of RICKETS... must check prices for a sunny holiday. The umbrella drinks are a must too, Vitamin C goes hand in hand for a healthy ADELEE....

I'm going to mark these dates on my calendar and let you know for sure before the 20th. I'll see if Dianaq is up for this one too as she had to back out of EE at the last minute. I may have a non SCS friend interested too! Will get back as soon as I have details. I need some motivation for stamping. Haven't done much of that in the last 6 months either ... yeesh.

August - That gives you 2+ months... hopefully that is enough time to prepare

I'm on the payment thing . Maybe today since it's not raining I'll get a chance to walk to the mail box. Although there is supposed to be thundershowers this afternoon. So I better do it right quick.
