Can you believe this?!

DH had parked the car today, at a mall, and when he came out of the movie rental place - returning old movies... not old movies, overdue movies..... someone had parked too close to him, so as he tried to carefully get into the car, he hit his head on the roof of the car..... and now has a huge bruise on the right side of his head... currently, he has ice on it... he is dizzy and his head is throbbing... and it is like lights going on and off in his head. I can't take anymore!!!!!!!!!

Don't know what that does to the concussion!

Neeru - maybe he should go see a doctor at Emerg. Do not fool around with concussion, especially when he reinjured it. They are very serious.

Come on you guys -- I can do it with one tote. Tam, I would think you would be happy to hear that. We sat back-to-back last year, and between the two of us, we couldn't move if there would have been a fire we had so much stuff. And I didn't use 98% of it.

I was planning on only bringing the things I need for my make-and-takes and what I need to make one Christmas card. I know I won't get any more than that done. I'd rather visit and check out everybody else's stuff.

I had to make I'm sure 22 trips last year (just seemed like it) and I really don't want to do that again.

And Robin, you evil lady -- you'd actually take their cookies. bwahahahaha

Hehe.. you bringing your "bag" this year? I can partake this year ;). Yeah, I did bring a lot of stuff. This year I'm doing christmas cards..... and my make and takes. Then I'll just visit, me thinks. Plus I'll have to head home early evenings, put little one to bed, give her the real thing before bed.

Surprisingly, I can craft better away from home. I only have limited choices therefore, I don't spend as much time debating what to use : o)

That's good.... means you plan ahead. For me, I'm always missing something that would bring the whole thing together when I craft away from home. Loved the memory games you were making last year. Great project!

Got the stuff for my make and takes tonight... so did Punky! We are so ready... well, except I have no idea what I am packing... except the stuff I bought tonight!

Going to bed soon....

Friday mornings ladies - one more week and the hoopla starts. This would be the time that Christine and Adelee are running around nuts trying to remember what they forgot.

Did I tell you I think you are great for putting this together again for us? I am so excited to get there, I am packing on Monday.

Just gotta figure out what these two ladies might have up their sleeves as surprises to throw in a few extra things so I am prepared.

Hi All,

JUST A REMINDER - there is one online shop that is sponsoring us that is offering Calgary Classic attendees a discount.

Here are the details:

Lori Scantlebury,Owner of the Scrap Hut Inc. (www.scrap-hut.com) has created a code for the Calgary Classic that is valid until Nov. 30th. Use the code in the coupon box when you check out your goodies. This will give you 10% off your purchased excluding Cricut products.

In the comments section please put that Adelee will be picking the items up before the event. This gives you free shipping --- it will be fixed when she tallies your total and really charges you..... that is what she has assured us.

PM either Christine or Adelee for the code --- it will also be in our opening document.

Free shipping only lasts until October 15th at midnight!

Aarrgghh!! Does anyone know where I can get a sheet of Creative Tape? I have only been able to find the rolls. Western Educational was all sold out because they were don't a class that required it and didn't really order any extra. They have no idea when they will be ordering again.

I really only need half a sheet for the make and take so if anyone is willing to sell me half let me know.

I didn't find any creative tape either, so I'm opting for the packing tape. I still have to head over to the Dollarama to pick up some glitter. But maybe if I do something winter, I can get away with just white......Since I don't know exactly what is coming, this could be quite the adventure!

Tasha - thanks for the head's up on the coupon. Now to find someone with an SUpack

I think I am going to stay over Friday night atleast.

I'll be panicking tomorrow as I pack up my bags and discover what I don't have that I need. But there are stores in Calgary......so I could go shopping.....but then I would be gone all day. Best to stay out of the stores.

I am not done any of my swaps!! I am a big procrastinator. I should have finished them before I started school I think!!

I hate deciding what to bring - but I am glad to hear that I am not the only one who thinks that I will need the entire craft room and then rent a uhaul to bring it!!

Looking forward to meeting and seeing you all again!!

hey you lucky duckies!
I'm still bummed that CC is not in the cards for me but I did check out the link to the store that would be so generous to all Y'all...
if anyone is placing an order could you let me know?
If you would be willing to add this stamp in I would be so grateful!

you'll know why when you see it...

http://www.scrap-hut.com/shop/index....roducts_id=870

I'm good for it just tell me who to send it to!
I'm hoping that one of the Edmonton GF would be willing to ferry it back to me ... reward and good karma to whoever helps me out (dangling shiny glitter embellished carrot tick ----tock...)

I wanna hear play by plays of everything that goes on!
I need to live vicariously and I promise to join in next year!

I have a question about the Secret Gift Exchange.... it says that we need to include something home made... does that "something" have to be papercrafted??

You found me out Robin. You are right. I thought it was something I was (heaven for bid) missing out on. I was so glad to see it was nothing I needed. Plus it doesn't take much to confuse me. Thanks for letting me know. See you on Friday.

Ideally yes. We are trying to stick to a theme LoL

However, if it is something of quality, then just something "home made" will do. Quite simple, there have been complaints from past events and situations where the gift is kind of a cast-off kind of thing and we want to ensure (as much as possible) that everyone gets something nice.

Make sense??

We are hoping that you will take time to create part of your gift and purchase the rest with things that you really like.....

Ladies! I applogize for the short notice on this but if you are interested in participating it would be greatly appreciated. Last year we raised $100.00 for Kneehill Kidsport. We had amazing feedback from families and would love to provide this opportunity again this year.

3D ITEM DONATIONS FOR ACME COMMUNITY ANGELS

I am wondering if any of you ladies are willing to donate a 3D item to our Acme Community Angels organization. We would like to have a Christmas Store at our Christmas Party to allow young children to purchase small gifts for their family at a minimal cost. The money raised will go to a local charity who helps families in need during the holidays. I will have a box at the event if you wish to help us out. Anything would be greatly appreciate. Just a note to let you know what we are about: The Acme Community Angels is an organization started in 2006. Our goal is to make Acme a safe and caring community. We feel the first way to feel safe is to know your neighbors. So in order for you to meet those neighbors in an easy laid back environment we plan community events every few months.

If you have any questions please pm me.

Thanks and see you all in two more sleeps. HEHEHE!!
