Put me on the list, too! Not 100% sure if I can make it as I'm going to be out of town the weekend after that already, and am volunteering with three different choirs for my 2 kids this fall. Will know more once the choir calendars are known. But I'll be there if I can! Oh yeah, Saturday only for me.
OK, something is wrong with this picture: there are at least five digital cameras in my house and the SCS profile pic I have is from 2008! Somebody take my picture at the swap!
Well, darn it. Just got one of the choir schedules, and there is a formal performance the evening of October 1! So that means I would have to drive to Austin super early on Saturday. Early morning is not my thing, so I'm sadly going to have to give up my spot already. Totally bummed out.

Thanks! I am breaking my vow not to swap, LOL! I only said that bc I *always* wait until the last minute & stress myself out - but this time Brenda won't let me, ha hahaha (I am ignoring the evil Rae Anne and Lydia and their encouragement...) :-) Plus, it's the only way I get to see all of you so how can I possibly resist?!

Ooooooooooo........... An Austin Shoebox Swap! Should I? I haven't been to an SCS Shoebox Swap in YEARS! I think the last one I went to was the Austin one at Steiner Ranch - that was a long time ago!

I would love to come to this but I don't know what I need to bring to participate. 40 card samples? Or the materials to make 40 samples? Tara

We would love to have you join us. I believe there is only one more spot availalbe.
You create one design and then you create 40 kits. Each kit will include the pieces needed to put your card together. Hope that makes sense. Somebody on this board may have a better explaination.
It's a bit like centers for adults. Every 10-15 minutes you move to another table to assemble that card design. It truly is a lot of fun. I attended my first swap about a year ago and I LOVED it!

Bummer! I am not a morning person, either, so I feel your pain. So sorry you can't make it this time!
