I'm going to PM all of MI next week (well 200 or so SCS stampers that I know of anyway) to let them know about this event and remind them about the big mingle. This week has been crazy at work.
Hello ladies! Sorry I dropped out of the loop for awhile. We moved from a 3800 square foot house to a 1200 square foot house and that was just shy of a...NIGHTMARE! That and my daughter graduated and is heading off to college which has kept me pretty busy.
I just wanted to let you guys know that I am in for both and will be sending my forms in the mail today. I may not be able to make it until about noon for the mini mingle. I have a prior committment in the am. Hopefully that is ok.
I'll send the first PM (or two) to the past Minglers. You can only put 50 people on a PM. And then a couple days later I will send to the rest of MI. So that will give them a head start.

I think I got the past and present Minglers this AM. I didn't send to a couple of the folks that were already registered for both mingles. I'll wait a few days before I send out to the rest of my list. Keep us posted on the numbers Robin.
As soon as the registrations come in, I post them. So post #4 has accurate numbers every day. . .I am expecting a few today, so we will see! I should go and check the mailbox!

I get that all the time! People usually think my kids are my siblings and my husband is my dad. I'll be 38 in August. I had her young, a week before my 20th birthday.
I can't believe she has graduated either. A warning to young mothers: the cliche that kids grow up fast is SO TRUE! I just got home from Chicago helping her apartment hunt. She will be going to the Illinois Institute of Art and leaving August 9th. :( It is hard to be happy and sad all at the same time.
I haven't been to one of the "mingles" before but would love to come to Lansing for a day! I live in the Brighton area if anyone is interested in sharing a ride. My registration will be in the mail tomorrow. Looking forward to meeting all of you in person!

As a sahm I get crazy many times per day...I even wonder why we decided to have more than one child (we have 3)...BUT then there are those moments when God reminds me exactly how blessed we are! Today I dropped all three girls off for 3 hours at a local VBS, we'll begin home schooling the first week of Sept, so believe me, I am very aware that this week is the last time I will have a block of time of quiet for a LONG time, yet...I got teary leaving them at VBS! CRAZY! So, I sure understand your point about being happy and sad at the same time!
Patty - Did you mail yours yet? Joni and Bad Mom will kill me if I PM all of Michigan and it fills up before you get in.

Someone had asked if new babies are allowed. . .and I say nursing babies are allowed. If SU is okay with it at founders circle, we can be okay with it. . .right? I seriously don't think it would be a problem.

Yep. You are working on your own stuff at your own pace here. I totally see no issues with it what so ever.
I'll have to mention it to Tracy and Patty in regards to the Big Mingle. That one concerns me a little because there is so much going on in so little time. But I know SU! allows it for regionals and I almost brought my littlest one year. She was just about a month old - maybe less. But I chickened out and left her home with dad. Even with three kids, I am not good at juggling them when I am trying to stamp and I needed a break. Hee hee! I'm sure we can work it out.
