I may not be able to make it after all. My husband failed to mention to me they were doing a benefit for his work that night and since I have a football game in the a.m. and then the benefit early p.m. it would be luck to get over there, unpack only to pack it back up again.
I have a few questions about the crop. If we want to go out to eat is that O.K.? I've never been to a crop where you take a dish and didn't know exactly how that works. O.K., I know what you are thinking, "the poor girl doesn't get out much.". LOl LOL AND, we take something to put in a box so that if someone wants it they can take it (I have that!! LOL). Do we also take something for the "dirty scrapbooker game"? Sorry I have so many questions. Just don't want to show up looking like the "rookie". LOL LOL

You absolutely can go out to eat if you want. There are several places nearby (Mcdonald's, Wendy's Quizno's, Pizza Hut). Most crops do offer food brought in and charge a fee, but I opted not to charge a fee and have a potluck (there was less to coordinate that way) I have been to one other event where they had a potluck, and we ended up with a really good variety of stuff. But ultimately, it is up to you.
The other things are purely voluntary....they had a trash to treasure table at a another crop I went to and people really liked it. And the "dirty scrapper" is like a white elephant gift exchange if you have ever participated in one of those.
The goal is for everyone to come and have fun (and get lots done)! Hope this covers everything. Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions! See you saturday!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to mention a couple of things before the crop:
Don’t forget to bring a wrapped gift valued at $15 for the “Dirty Scrapper” (white elephant style) gift exchange if you want to participate. It’s usually a lot of fun! (If you’re not familiar with a white elephant gift exchange, you can read about it here)
Please bring a trash bag or a small trash can to have at your table for paper scraps, etc. The community center is really strict about leaving the place like you rented it, so whatever we can do during the day will mean there will be less to do at the end of the night! Also, I could really use a couple of people to help me put away tables and chairs and help me clean up at the end of the night (please, oh please).
Hobby Lobby has a 40% off coupon this week if there is anything you need (ok, want) to get. It is right down the road from the community center.
So far I know that we will have a sausage dip, taco soup, a veggie tray, chips and salsa and chocolate (who can crop without chocolate?).
There is a refrigerator onsite so that we can keep drinks (and whatever else) cold. **DIRECTIONS**
To get to the community center: Coming from the Mall of GA:
Take Hwy 20 (Buford Drive) to Temple Drive and turn left. Turn left onto W Broad Street NE and then right onto Church Street. The center will be on the right.

O.K., I'm still figuring this out. LOL LOL I will bring a large slaw like salad and a sweet. Do I need to take plates, napkins, etc.? We take our drinks in a cooler? Just bare with me, I'll get there.

Sounds great CeCe! I will have plates, napkins and plastic cutlery. And there is a fridge that we can use to keep our drinks cold.

Hey, it's the only chance I'll get to be anywhere near Archiver's or the SS clearance store....and with gas prices and all I must go spend my money tomorrow, lol!
Archiver's is a bad (in a good way) place....I just went at lunch!
