I just lost weight so now face isn't so heavy looking. That is the only reason that I put my face up. I have been taking pictures over the months to see if my face looked skinny enough for the avatar. There is a pic of my husband and I on my profile page also but it isn't that great. My 13 yo took so I felt that I needed to use it.

That's so funny, I feel the same way!!! Was watching Paula Deen the other night and she said to get rid of a double chin in a photo to put your tonge on the roof of your mouth. I had to got try it out immediately, and it worked, too bad can't go around like that all day!!!! I have some updated pictures on my family blog, but it is before my hair got really CRAZY!!!! Not the best picture of me and my hubby, but hopefully will get some good ones after I heal from surgery.
Okay Janet you inspired me, changed my avatar to an older one of me and my kids the day before my mastectomy, and my new profile picture is of me and my hubby. Guess where it was taken???? From the balcony of our rental cabin in PIGEON FORGE!!! We last went there in Feb 2007, and can not wait to get back there.
Hey Ladies! Your havin this thing near my stompin grounds!:p
Haven't had the chance to read all the posts yet. However, I think that this would be fun! I will read through everything later to find out all the details!
Have a great Tuesday!
Denise (from Murvil or Maryville, TN whichever you prefer!)
ps Not sure if someone has already mentioned...there is a HUGE scrapbooking/stamp store in Pigeon Forge with a overstock/discontinued store (from the same store)next door. I always hit it first!

Hi - having done two shoebox swaps - I would suggest that everyone should bring their own on alll of the above... and the rest of our tools could be optional
Yesterday was very hectic for me here at work. I had a database to build with 3000 names to begin with and "scrub" it against the do not call list. It took all day!! I didn't feel like sitting in front of the monitor when I got home. Looks like today will be better.

Have a good day!!
Sorry you had a bad day Ladybug, I hope today was better. Mine sucked, but I am feeling somewhat better. Trying to work out details for my DD medical procedures between two states who dont share medical cards! Very frustrating.
I have days where I build spreadsheets all day and just dont want to get on PC either when I get home so I understand.
191 days left before the big day! I am REALLY needing the get away

What is your vote?
Please see below. Has anyone reserved rooms yet? If not, I think this is a much better deal and Sherri will be arriving early and be able to finalize the group arrival at the last minute. I vote we move the gathering. Does anyone have any objections to this? It is on the same strip.

Janet and I were trying to get things lined up for our trip to Gatlinburg and I was planning on coming down to Gatlinburg a few days earlier with the two littleones and when I seen how much the hotel was for one night I started looking at other places. They really did not give you much of a deal on the conference room with people staying there, we are still going to have to pay $15 to $20 on top of the hotel room to stamp. How long do we have the conference room for at the $400 price. I found a Ramada for approx $40 per night in Piegon Forge and I spoke to the events coordinator and he is going to call me with the price of the meeting room. He stated that the meeting rooms run about $100-$200 per day. Has anyone made reservations yet at the hotel?
Thanks ladies for your response. I have two calls in and tonight I just got another name of a conference center that our Church just went to last weekend and they got a really good deal. The girl that was in charge is going to email the contact name and hotel they used. Will have things sorted out by the end of this week or first of next week.
In my experience...Pigeon Forge seems to be always cheaper than Gatlinburg. Plus Gatlinburg isn't far at all from Pigeon Forge for those who wanna visit while you are here.
BTW forgot to tell you ladies..that in that humongus(is that a word?) stampin/scrapin store there are die cut words like.... Pigeon Forge, Great Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, etc. that will look beautiful on pages commemorating the stay! I am telling you(maybe I should say warning you) ya'll are gonna die when you see this store....some may even pee their pants!!!! It is soooooooooooo wonderful. Plan on several store visits...most lasting more than an hour!!!

Sherri in TN
I am thrilled to hand these arrangements over to Sherri! With All I have going on here with my DD I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Sherri, just keep me updated as to posting changes and I will update. For now I am going to remove the attachment about the other hotel until you let me know. Create a word doc and email it to me and I will post it as an attachment.

Ya'll will wanna come back...ya hear?
I peed my pants just thinking about an acre of stamping stuff!!!
Good morning ladies, ok I am going to read back through all our post and call the scrapbook store and see if they have anything to offer us? Will have things rolling by the end of this week or first of next.
I was in that store for just over an hour (had my hubby waiting on me, ugh!!) and only made it through a couple of isles. They have everything!!!! They even have an area set up for the guys to watch TV and an area for the kids to play. They really know how to work it there!!!! Looking forward to just sending as much time and hopefully money as I want in there!

Sherri
That would be great if our day room was at the scrapbooking store. That may depend on total sign up though. I was also thinking of offering a prepaid box lunch to be brought in from somewhere (like Panera Bread) or provided by the site so we could stay and keep near our stuff.
A little update, things are coming along good, I hope to have information and details complete soon. Hang in there ladies and keep saving those coins for your special trip. Think about it, put all your loose change in a Pigeon Forge container and by the time March comes you should have some extra spending money. Let's see who can save the most, LOL!
