Just wondering if anyone in the Utah county area or So Salt Lake area would be willing to carpool.
I really shouldn't drive as far as Layton and I know my husband would take me somewhere to meet up with someone if I could ride the rest of the way with ya'all.

Okay I have 3 maybe four more ladies who want to join I am sure of 3 but still waiting on the fourth. You can sign them as Pat C. and friends (as I am not certain which ones she's bringing) I will try to get you more specific details by September 1.
Sorry gals, but I'm going to have to back out. I have a conflict with a church activity that day. I'm bummed because I was so excited. I'll just have to watch the board for the next gathering.

I just wanted to follow up and say I got the day off and I plan to see you all there! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I haven't chatted with any of you besides Geneal.
Now...I have to figure out my swap!

:lol:WHOO HOO!! I'm so glad you got the day off, and I know what you mean about being a little nervous, I am too, but I am so excited to meet everyone, I think it is going to be awesome!!
The swaps are going to be so much fun, I just can't wait........ We need to start a count down.
:shock:And Yeah, can you even believe it about our poor planet PLUTO!! I am so bummed. I taught all my kids how to remember the planets by the little ditty

I see the word SALE and SCRAPBOOK in the same sentence and I'm a goner. I hope I can find a way up there, not that I have room for even one more sheet of paper but I'd find a spot i'm sure :lol:

Directions will also be PMed out that day along with a final count of how many items to make for your "shoebox".

Hi ladies.. Just wanted to let you know that we have 24 swappers.. I still have not heard back from a lot of people so I would hope that all is still good for everyone. Please prepare your swaps for 25 just in case there is someone who happens to bring a friend or something. Thanks so much for joining the swap and I am soo excited.. 27 days and counting.
So let me make sure i understand what to expect. We bring supplies in our shoebox for 24 or 25 people to make our cards right? Or are we just swapping cards? Just want to make sure i know how to prepare. Thanks. I am very excited about this! It is going to be alot of fun!
Prepare the pieces of cardstock, include embellishments, etc.. Bring EVERYTHING you would need to make YOUR card.. Make it like you would for a stamp camp or club so that when we get there, we will be making the cards. What I am looking at is with 24 people we will have 6 tables with 4 "shoeboxes" on it. We will then have a set number of time to stamp those 4 cards and then we will rotate between the tables. We have the room for 4 hours.. Does that clarify??
