OK. I've been lurking. Usually stick with the scrapbooking threads but just happened across this one. I had signed up for the Christmas Shoebox swap here at Fancy That in November but it was canceled. I think I will sign up for this one as well but I won't know until closer the deadline since I need to arrange child care. I've also been trying to get 2 other SCSers to come along....Will let you know! Thanks for Hostessing.

have been lurking here while my daughter negotiated dates with a hall and her Dad for her graduation/pinning party....and don't you know she chose this date!! {sniff sniff}.....I had such a great time last time I was able to make a PA event...I don't really care how far I have to drive usually - and I would have taken this trip too! oh well, next time....have a fab time!

Good! It's a beautiful day in PA even if it is cold. Since we are to bring along a tag and I've never made any except for Christmas (and plain at that), one of the ladies in the scrapbook forum told me about pagemaps.com. When I looked on there, they have a section for tags! I got some great ideas on how to do some so I can actually be creative now! lol.

Other then really wanting to get out and meet some people all is well. I could of gone for a good cup of coffee with a friend today . Not that it's been a bad day...just one of those days when the kids chatter (okay...it's a little louder then a chatter today), the cold and being in the house for too many days in a row can bring on...LOL.

You're welcome...good morning to all! I probably won't be creating anything for this swap until the beginning of April...got too much going on until the end of the month and I work full time as well so evenings are usually pretty hectic until I can get the 5yo to bed and weekends are spent cleaning up from the week! I love that website but I now scrapbook more than make cards so it's super for ideas! I was really surprised to see the one for tags.
Have been trying to find tags in the gallery but there is not a separate area for them and anytime I've tried the "search" option, it doesn't work. Is there any special place I can go to look at examples? Thanks!
You are way ahead of me! But I have a good excuse, I have a large order of new stamps and goodies coming this week! I am really looking forward to this swap, what a nice way to spend a Saturday, with nice people who all enjoy the same hobby and in a place where we can spend money on that hobby! What's not to like?

LOL, that is right Barb!! I loved the last swap so much and was itching to do another one. I thought it would be a perfect way to get out of the house from our snowy winter and welcome the warm summer.
Hi Melanie -- I want to come to this so bad but DH just told me he thinks that is the day of a wedding we are supposed to go to. He's going to find out for certain in the next day or so and then I will know if I can come to this!!! I definitely want to! Even if I could only come for the morning half and then make it home in time for the wedding...
It is only 1 hr 56 min from my house according to Mapquest. Can I get a tentative spot?
Susan that would be so wonderful. I'll give youa "tentative" spot. Since we'll only be doing 12 cards (as of right now) we should finish up before our ending time. If not you can always take the unfinished kits home with you. Yea!!!!!!!
